PHOTOGRAPHIC ART EXHIBITION ENTITLED

"TRAVELS AROUND THE WORLD"

It has become a tradition for the International Association "Euro Foto Art" (AIEFA) to organize in partnership with the Museum of the Country of Crișurilor - Museum Complex, through the section of the Oradea City Museum, and with the support of Summit Agro Romania, under the auspices of the International Federation of Photographic Art (FIAP) exhibitions made up of the works of photographic artists from all over the country. In this context, 72 monochrome and color photographs, made by the renowned photographer artist Syed Javaid A. Kazi M.FIAP from Pakistan, will be installed on the walls of the longest permanent gallery of permanent photographic art in Romania. The exhibition entitled "Travels around the world" is dedicated to the Independence Day of Pakistan (August 14) and is organized in Oradea at the proposal of the Secretary General of FIAP, the photographer artist Ioannis Lykouris MFIAP from Greece and includes images taken in several countries of the world: Africa, Bali , Bosnia, China, Egypt, India, Malaysia, Oman, Thailand, Turkey and Vietnam. The exhibiting photographer artist was born in 1945 in Jullundhar (India), currently lives in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. Kazi was awarded 'Master-FIAP' in 2000, Fellowship of the Photographic Society of America (PSA) in 1989 and Fellowship of the Royal Photographic Society (FRPS) in 2003. He is also the recipient of the Hon EFIAP Award from FIAP (recognized by UNESCO), Rightly recognized as a photographic artist and for his significant services to the promotion of photographic art, he has been honored by major photographic societies around the world. His works are part of the permanent collections of several prestigious societies and galleries, including PSA in the USA. Syed Javaid A. Kazi M.FIAP's works have been exhibited in many prestigious galleries worldwide and widely published. His latest coffee table book is 'Churches of Pakistan' published by Constellation Plus Publishing House in Islamabad. Artist photographer Syed Javaid A. Kazi M.FIAP has been awarded President of Pakistan Medal for 'Pride of Achievement' in the field of Culture (Photographic Art). He is currently the President of the Photographic Society of Pakistan and the country representative for PSA, FIAP and the Asian Federation of Photographic Art. The opening of the exhibition will take place on Thursday, August 18, 2022, at 5:00 p.m., in the Euro Photo Art Gallery, FIAP Oradea Exhibition Center – Romania, within the Museum of Țării Crisurilor - Museum Complex, Oradea City Museum section. The public present at the event will be greeted by Dr. Ioan Ciorba, head of the Oradea City Museum section, belonging to the Museum of the Land of Crișurilor - Museum Complex, and by the photographer artist Ștefan Tóth István AFIAP, ESFIAP, the president of AIEFA and the curator of the exhibition. The musical moments of the opening will be provided by the artist Thurzó Sándor József, representative of the Cultural Group "Duo Sola Fide" from Oradea, who will perform several pieces from the Pakistani repertoire.
