AN EXCEPTIONAL OPENING IN THE SYNAGOGUE OF ZION IN ORADEA

The International Association "Euro Foto Art" (AIEFA) organized in partnership with the Association "Saint Ladislaus" in Oradea and the Foundation for the Protection of Historical Monuments in Bihor County, respectively the Cultural Group "Duo Sola Fide" in Oradea, with the support of Summit Agro Romania in within the 10th edition of the Saint Ladislaus Cultural Days, a photographic marathon of Hungarian photographers, which included three exceptional photographic art exhibitions. The international marathon started on Friday, June 17 with the opening of the exhibition of the photographer Bereki Anikó in Budapest and continued on Sunday, June 19, 2022 with the opening of the exhibition of photographers in Debrecen, which this year celebrates its 90th anniversary. The last exhibition of the marathon entitled "... since I lost you ... - Images from the house of the living" was opened on Saturday, June 25, 2022, at 11:00 in the presence of the author Dr. Nagy Károly from Sárpospatak. The exhibition consists of 112 black and white photographs made with great artistic mastery about the Jewish Cemetery on Salgótarján Street in Budapest. The audience at the event was greeted by photographer Ștefan Tóth István AFIAP, ESFIAP, AIEFA president and curator of the exhibition, who thanked the exhibition photographer for this exceptional exhibition and the photographer Fórián Andrea, president of the Cultural Group "Duo Sola Fide" from Oradea for personal involvement. The representative of the Association of St. Ladislaus, Mrs. Hausmann Cecilia stressed in her speech the importance of organizing this exhibition in this special space of our city and thanked the people involved in organizing it. The musical moments were offered by the artists of the Cultural Group “Duo Sola Fide” from Oradea Oszaczky Andrássy Katalin (piano) and Thurzó Sándor József (viola). The exhibition organized with the support of Summit Agro Romania will remain available to the visiting public until July 15, 2022.
