MARATHON EXHIBITIONS DURING THE

CHINESE PHOTOGRAPHY FESTIVAL IN ROMANIA

 

The Euro Foto Art International Association in partnership with the China Photo Network Online from Zhuhai (China) and the partner organizations from Romania under the patronage of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and of the Chinese Embassy from Romania has been organizing the Festival of the Chinese Photography. The 7th edition of the festival, dedicated to the anniversary of 70 years of the establishment of the Romanian-Chinese diplomatic relationships and to the national day of China, included 15 exhibitions. There was also opened an exhibition by Sorin Tabacaru and Stefan Tóth AFIAP called "Impressions from China". The official opening took place on Tuesday, the 1st of October 2019 at 11.00 hours, at the Casino Urban Cultural Center from Cluj-Napoca in the presence of Stefan Tóth AFIAP-the president of the Euro Foto Art International Association and Sorin Tabacaru, counselor. The public was saluted by Tudor Neamtu, inspector at the Casino Urban Cultural Center. The mayor of Cluj-Napoca, Mr. Emil Boc, was represented at the event by Mr. Ionut Tente, chief manager at education, culture and cults bureau. Sorin Tabacaru read the thanking message for organizing this festival of Her Excellency, Mrs. Jiang Yu, the Chinese ambassador in Romania. Nicolae Sera, the manager of the Confucius Institute from the Babes-Bolyai University took the word finally. After the opening festivity, the "People and cities from China and Romania" exhibition has started with Chinese and Romanian authors, with 70 images. The Romanian collection includes images of the most beautiful local cities, sceneries of the Carpathian Mountains, of Europe's longest river-the Danube and of the Danube Delta. Other 8 exhibitions were opened with the participation of the following artists: Weilu Chen-the president of the China Photo Network Online from Zhuhai China (CPNO), Dan ChenRuisheng Zhu, Hui Zhang, Yanming Zhu, and the president of the Euro Foto Art International Association-Ștefan Tóth AFIAP and the counselor-Sorin Tabacu. At all openings the musical moments were offered by Thurzó Sándor József, viola artist, member of the Varadiensis Duo. The opening of the exhibition of Wing Chiu LAI (Macau-China), called "The rhythm of lotus" took place at the Marx József photoclub's gallery from the Târgu Mures medieval fortress on the 2nd of October 2019, at 18.00 hours. The public was saluted by Bot Gyula AFIAP, the president of the Marx József photoclub. The following exhibition had the opening on Thursday, the 3rd of October 2019 at 18.00 hours at the Civilization Museum from Brasov. The public was saluted by Dr. Alexandru Stănescu and Dr. Mandai Alina. Constantin Lupu, the manager of the Romanian Cultural Institute from Beijing took the word then. Oradea hosted two exhibitions. The first, including the works of the Nufarul photoclub members, was opened on Monday, the 7th of October 2019 at 18.00 hours, at the Euro Foto Art Gallery-FIAP Exhibiting Center. The second, called "Share and inherit" by Ming YI  was opened in the rooms of the Stefan Tóth Artistical and Technical Photography Museum on Tuesday, the 8th of October 2019, at 11.00 hours. The public was saluted by the vice-president of the Oradea Museum-Cultural Center, dr. Ionel Ciorba and Stefan Tóth AFIAP. Weilu Chen-the president of the China Photo Network Online from Zhuhai China expressed his joy in celebrating the Chinese National Day here, in Romania. The images were presented by dr. Ramona Novicov, art critic, who appreciated their high artistical level. At the Károlyi Castle, there were exposed 50 monochrome and color images taken by Haibo CHI from Shanghai. The public was saluted by Adrian Stefanut, representing the Gróf Károlyi Promoting Center of Cultural Tourism. Bikfalvi Zsolt EFIAP appreciated the great relationship between the Vasile Vénig photoclub from Carei and the Euro Foto Art International Association and the high artistical level of the exposed images. At the Petre Dulfu regional library from Baia Mare, 50 black and white images were exposed, taken by Xiaopeng Wu. The exhibition is called "Shehuo-the Chinese Tradition". The opening took place on Wednesday, the 9th of October 2019, at 12.00 hours. The public was saluted by Teodor Ardelean, the manager of the library. At the Radio Hall from Sighetu Marmatiei 50 monochrome and color images were exposed, taken by Ruisheng ZHU. The exhibition is called "View from a drone". The opening took place on Wednesday, the 9th of October 2019 at 16.00 hours.  In Marghita there was opened the "Impressions from China" exhibition, including 50 monochrome and color images taken by Stefan Tóth AFIAP and Sorin Tabacaru during their travels in Zuhai and Macau. The last exhibition's opening took place on Thursday, the 10th of October 2019 at 16.00 hours, at the House of Culture from Marghita. The public was saluted by Veronica Demeter, the manager of this institution, who thanked the organizers for the exhibition. The Chinese delegation left Romania on Friday, the 11th of October 2019, from Cluj-Napoca. The Chinese exhibitions were realized with the financial support of the Bihor region Council through the Developing Projects Direction and of the Euro Foto Art International Association's partner organizations.

 

THE STEFAN TÓTH AFIAP PHOTOGRAPHER EXPOSES TO BÉKÉSCSABA (HU)

 

The 6th edition of the Chinese Photographic Festival organized by the International Association "Euro Foto Art" offered the opportunity to open the personal exhibition of the artist photographer Stefan Tóth AFIAP in Békéscsaba (HU). The inaugural Chinese Painting Exhibition includes a selection of 50 photos by the famous Oradean photographer on the occasion of the 8 creative moves made in various scenic regions of China. The opening of the exhibition took place in the presence of the author and a large audience Thursday, 18 October 2018 at 17:00 local time at the "Lencsés" Community Center in Békéscsaba. The public at the event was welcomed by Mr Takács Péter, Director of the Lencsés Community Center in Békéscsaba. The exhibited works were presented by editor Szűcs László the editor-in-chief of Várad magazine in Oradea. The musical moments were offered by a pupil of the Békéscsaba High School of Fine Arts and Thurzó Sándor József, a violin player from Oradea, who played several pieces of the Chinese repertoire. The exhibition organized in partnership with the "Lencsés" Communal Center and the "Márvány" Fotoclub (Partner Organization of the International Association "Euro Foto Art" in Békéscsaba will remain at the disposal of the public in Békéscsaba and not only until 08.11.2018.

 

 AN OUTSTANDING OPENING AT THE ORADEA MUSEUM - CULTURAL CENTER

The exhibition was opened on Tuesday, the 16th of October 2018, at 17.00 hours in front of a large number of visitors including guests from Spain, Italy and Sweden. The exhibited artist was Alexandrino Li Ariosa from Macau, during the 6th edition of the Chinese Photography Festival in Romania, organized by the Euro Foto Art International Association. The images were presented by dr. Teodor Radu Pantea EFIAPs, the manager of the international relationships department of the EFA. The closing festivity of the Chinese Photography Festival

The “Euro Foto Art” Association has organized during September 28 and October 26 2015, under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture, The Chinese Popular Republic’s Embassy in Romania and the Chinese Photographers’ Association (CPA), the 3rd edition of the Chinese Photography Festival in Romania. The festival was dedicated to the National day of China and was launched in the presence of His Excellency Xu Feihong, the extraordinary ambassador of the Chinese Popular Republic. The opening of the festival took place on Monday, September 28 2015, at the National Library of Romania, in the capital. The festival, which was made up of 18 events that took place in the capital and other cities, wanted to promote Chinese photographic art in Romania and to present China as it has been seen and photographed by Romanian photographers. During the festivities organized with the support of the National Library of Romania, the opening of the Contemporary Photographic exhibit from Romania and China, entitled “Terra Color” Took place, organized by the “Euro Foto Art” Association in partnership with China Network Online. The exhibition was made up of 75 artistic photographs made by Romanian photographers and 75 photos from famous Chinese photographers. The joint exhibition of Romanian and Chinese photographers was available to the public from the capital for a month. This exhibition was presented in Gura Humorului, Suceava, on the 3rd of October, with the support of the Bucovina Cultural Center. Before the Festival began, in the “University” passageway from Bucharest, a selection of 60 black and white as well as color photographs has been exhibited, on the 27th of September. The photos were from the “Terra Color” exhibition. The full version of this exhibition, made up of 100 photographs, has been presented in the “Euro Foto Art” gallery in Oradea. The exhibition of the Romanian and Chinese photographers entitled “Picturesque Romania and China” (presented last year at the National Library in Bucharest) has been presented this year in the “Petru Dulfu” County Library from Baia Mare, in the Casino Cultural Center from Cluj Napoca and the “Eugen Ionescu” Cultural Center from Slatina (Olt). During the festival, in the “ovidpopgallery” in Oradea, the exhibition of Peng Da Lin from Taipei (Taiwan), made up of 50 large scale color photos, has been presented to the public. In the same gallery, the exhibition of the Chinese Photographers’ Association (CPA), made up of 50 color photos of great artistic value, has been presented, on the 23rd of October 2015. The projection of Fritz Shih APSA works from Taipei entitled “Wild birds from Taiwan” has been presented at the Gura Humorului Cultural Center, the Black Eagle Pallace – Studio room from Oradea and “Antim Ivrigeanu” Library in Râmnicu Vâlcea. “China seen by Romanian photographers” was the title of the exhibits that were presented during this Festival at the “Euro Foto Art” Gallery from the CrișanaHotel in Băile Felix and the Gallery of the “Octavian Goga” Library from Aleșd. During the exhibits, works made by Ștefan Toth AFIAP (who traveled to China five times) and Ovi D. Pop (who visited China twice) were presented. The closing festivity of the 3rd edition of the Chinese Photography Festival in Romania, organized under the patronage of the GalațiCounty Council, in partnership with the Lower Danube Cultural Center took place on the 28th of October 2015 in the aula of the Lower Danube University from Galați. Ștefan Toth AFIAP, president of the “Euro Foto Art” gallery and director of the festival, was present. The public, made up of members of the Lower Danube photo club, Chinese businessmen and other photography fans were greeted by Sburlan Nicolai, the president of the Lower Danube Photo club. He read the message of the cultural attaché of the Chinese Embassy in Romania. After this, he invited Mr. Ștefan TothAFIAP to give a speech.The president of the “Euro Foto Art” Association thanked the organizers for the conditions they made possible for organizing this festival and told those present about his impressions of China. University prof. dr. Anca Nicolau, from the Lower Danube University has appreciated the artistic quality of the photos, while Mariana Buruiană- a councilor from the Culture Department of Galați– has saluted the initiative of organizing such a festival.           A special musical moment was presented by the students from the Art High school Dimitrie Cuclin and Maria Isabel Nica. During the festivity, the exhibition of Chinese photographers, entitled “Terra color”, as well as Mr. Toth’s exhibition will be presented. The festival was organized by self-financing from the “Euro Foto Art” International Association, with the help of a few sponsors and the aid of Partner Organizations from Baia Mare, Băile Felix, Bucharest, Cluj Napoca, Galați, Oradea, Slatina, Suceava, Râmnicu Vâlcea. 

Representative exhibition of Chinese fine-art photographers

Between September the 28th 2015 and October the 28th 2015, “Euro Foto Art” Association organizes the 3rd edition of the Chinese Photo Festival in Romania, under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture, of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China and of the Association of Fine-Art Photographers of China. The Festival offered the opportunity to organize 18 exhibitional events in the most representative photographic centres of Romania. In this context, Oradea hosted several fine-art photography exhibitions and digiporama projections, made up of the works belonging to Chinese photographers. The second exhibition of Chinese fine-art photography was inaugurated in the “ovidpop art photo gallery” in Era Shopping Park. This time, the public is presented exceptional colour photos made available by the Association of Fine-Art Photographers of China (CPA). The photos are a model of composition and lighting, and they belong to several genres of photographic art: portrait, essay, landscape, social photography, reportage and architectural photography. The opening of the exhibition took place on Friday, the 23rd of October 2015, at 6 o’clock, at “ovidpop art photo gallery” in Era Shopping Park of Oradea. The exhibits were presented by the fine-art photographer Ştefan Toth AFIAP, president of ”Euro Foto Art” Association, and the music was provided by the artist Thurzó Sándor József, who performed several works belonging to the Chinese repertoire. During the ceremony, we also celebrated the birthday of the fine-art photographer Adela Lia Rusu AFIAP. The exhibition of the Chinese fine-art photographers, organized under the patronage of Bihor County Council, in partnership with ”Gheorghe Şincai” County Library of Oradea, will be open to the public until the 11th of November 2015, on working days, between 8.00 and 19.00. Access to the exhibition is free of charge.

The exhibition "Romania and Picturesque China" in Cluj-Napoca

For one week, the public of Cluj-Napoca has the opportunity to visit a remarkable exhibition of fine-art photography comprising the works of well-known fine-art photographers of Romania and China. The exhibition, entitled "Romania and Picturesque China", is part of the 3rd edition of the Chinese Photo Festival in Romania, organized by “Euro Foto Art” Association, under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture, of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China and of the Association of Fine-Art Photographers of China. The exhibition is made up of 55 black-and-white and color pictures, of an exceptional artistic value, presenting special landscapes of Romania and China. The inauguration of the exhibition took place on Thursday, the 15th of October 2015, at 6 o’clock pm, in the “Casino” Center of Urban Culture of Cluj-Napoca, in the presence of a numerous audience, who was greeted by the representative of the Center, Adina Po. Mrs. Po welcomed the initiative of organizing the exhibition and appreciated the good cooperation relationships with “Euro Foto Art” Association. Then, she invited the fine-art photographer Ştefan Tóth AFIAP, president of „Euro Foto Art” Association and director of the Chinese Photo Festival in Romania, to give a speech. He announced that on the 2nd of December, on the occasion of the National Day of Romania, the exhibition will be inaugurated at the new location of the Romanian Cultural Institute of Beijing. University professor PhD Eugen Moritz praised the exhibitional events initiated by the fine-art photographer Ştefan Tóth AFIAP, who, in the end of the ceremony, handed over the plaquettes of the Chinese Photo Festival in Romania to the representatives of the ”Casino” Center of Urban Culture and of the ”STARS” Photo Club of Cluj-Napoca, as a reward for their cooperation and support in the organization of the exhibition. The musical ambiance was provided by the artist Thurzó Sándor József, who performed several works belonging to the Chinese repertoire.

The exhibition "China seen by photographers of Romania" in Aleşd

For three weeks, the public of Aleşd will have the opportunity to visit a remarkable exhibition of fine-art photography comprising the works of the fine-art photographers Ovi D. Pop AFIAP and Ştefan Tóth AFIAP. The exhibition, entitled "China seen by photographers of Romania", is made up of a selection of 45 black-and-white and colour pictures made by the two well-known fine-art photographers of Oradea, who took part, last year, in various creation trips in Hong-Kong, Shenzen, Zhuhai and Macau. The exhibition, part of the 3rd edition of the Chinese Photo Festival in Romania, organized by “Euro Foto Art” Association, under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture, was inaugurated on Thursday, the 15th of October 2015, at 2 o’clock p.m., in the Gallery of “Octavian Goga” City Library of Aleşd, in the presence of a numerous audience. The public was greeted by the director of the library, Mrs. Georgeta Ardelean, who thanked the International Association for the initiative of organizing a fine-art photography exhibition in their city. Then, the floor was taken by the fine-art photographer Ştefan Tóth AFIAP, president of  ”Euro Foto Art” Association and director of the Chinese Photo Festival in Romania. In his speech, the deputy mayor of Aleşd, the fine-art photographer Létai Zoltán, appreciated the artistic value of the exhibitions and thanked ”Euro Foto Art” Association for this gift offered to the citizens of Aleşd. In the end of the ceremony, the fine-art photographer Ştefan Tóth AFIAP handed over the plaquette of the Festival to the director of the Library and to the deputy mayor of Aleşd. The musical ambiance was provided by the artist Thurzó Sándor József, who performed on his viola several works belonging to the Chinese repertoire. After the inauguration, the exhibits were briefly presented to the two trainees of Aleşd, who take part in the most recent classes of photo art and technique and to the young pupils of “Constantin Şerban” Theoretical High School, who attended the event.

”China seen by

fine-art photographers of Romania”

The 3rd edition of the Chinese Photo Festival in Romania, organized by “Euro Foto Art” Association, under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture, the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Romania and of the Association of Fine-Art Photographers of China offered the opportunity to open, in the “Euro Foto Art” Gallery of “Crişana” Hotel of Băile Felix, the joint exhibition of fine-art photography entitled ”China seen by fine-art photographers of Romania”. This time, we exhibited a selection of 50 colour photos taken by the fine-art photographers Dezső László EFIAP of Gheorgheni, Ovi D. Pop AFIAP and Ştefan Tóth AFIAP of Oradea. The authors of the exhibition had the opportunity to take part in a creation trip to China in 2012. This was made possible by the good cooperation relationships between the fine-art photographers of Romania and China, that were built by Ştefan Tóth AFIAP, president of  ”Euro Foto Art” Association and of ”Nufărul” Photo Club since 2000. The exhibition of the three artists was inaugurated in the spring of 2015 at the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Bucharest too. The audience, including the fine-art photographers Constantin Dancoglu EFIAPb, Gheorghe Petrila EFIAP and Erbsz Tibor, was greeted by the administrator of Crişana” Hotel, Mr. Dan Petrescu, who thanked ”Euro Foto Art” Association for the willingness to open this special photography exhibition in Băile Felix as well. In his speech, Ştefan Tóth AFIAP appreciated the wonderful cooperation with the administration of the Hotel for the organization of the 6 exhibitions since the inauguration of the Gallery in the 9th of May 2015. The musical ambiance was provided by the artist Thurzó Sándor József, who performed several creations belonging to the Chinese repertoire. The new exhibition organized under the patronage of Bihor County Council will be open to the public until the 30th of October 2015. After this date, the exhibitions programme will be suspended until March 2016, because during this period, the Hotel will be closed.

Inauguration of the exhibition of the fine-art photographer Peng Da Li

Taipei (Taiwan)

The public of Oradea will have the opportunity to visit a valuable exhibition of fine-art photography of Taiwan – China, which will be open for two weeks. The author of the exhibition is the world-renowned fine-art photographer Peng Da Li of Taipei -Taiwan (China), who took part, together with Ştefan Tóth A.FIAP, in three creation camps organized by the Association of the Chinese Photographers in Jiaozuo, Lishui and Tibet. The author lives in the mountainous area Yangminshuan, where he had the opportunity to take original pictures of the birds populating the region. For 14 years, he carried out a research having as subject the life of the small birds in their natural environment. Thus, he had the occasion to watch the way the baby birds are raised and the hard work that the parents do in order to protect and feed their little ones. This study made him create a photo exhibition. In the 37 photos (50x60cm), the fine-art photographer Peng Da Li presents the raising of the birds in their natural environment, in natural lighting conditions, without using another light source, such as the electronic flash. The author states that through his images he had the intention to present to the public the totally special family relationships of the birds, which could represent an example for the humans who live closed in the concrete jungle of the cities. In order to realize the exhibition, he used 5000 Kodak 100 professional roll films and one of the best film cameras in the world. The film transparencies were transposed to a special photographic paper (cibachrome), which allowed copying the image on a positive support. Beyond the artistic message of the exhibits, the public will have the opportunity to see photos of an exceptionally high professional level. The official opening of this exhibition took place immediately after the project was finished, on the 22nd of April 2011, at 11 o’clock, in the Euro Foto Art Gallery. The new exhibition is part of the 3rd edition of the Chinese Photo Festival in Romania, organized by ”Euro Foto Art” Association, under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture, of the Embassy of People’s Republic of China in Romania and the Association of the Chinese Photographers. This time, the inauguration took place on Wednesday, the 7th of October 2015, at 6 o’clock, at “ovidpop art photo gallery”, in Era Shopping Park. The audience was greeted by the fine-art photographer Ovi D. Pop AFIAP, the host and the director of the patronage department of the ”Euro Foto Art” Association. The works were presented by the fine-art photographer Ştefan Tóth AFIAP, president of ”Euro Foto Art” Association and director of the Festival, who offered Ovi D. Pop AFIAP the patronage certificate, as well as the plaquette of the Festival, as an appreciation for the support in the organization of the national event. The artist Thurzó Sándor József played several works belonging to the Chinese repertoire. The new exhibition, organized under the patronage of Bihor County Council, in partnership with “Gheorghe Şincai” County Library, will be open every day, until the 22nd of October 2015. Access to the exhibition is free of charge.

The opening of the “Terra Color” Exhibition in Gura Humorului

The 3rd edition of the Chinese Photography Festival in Romania, Organized by the “Euro Foto Art” Association, under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture, The Embassy of the Chinese Popular Republic in Romania and the Chinese Photographers’ Association - offered the possibility of exhibiting, together with the Bucovina Cultural center from Suceava - of organizing an exceptional exhibition in Gura Humorului. The exhibition was entitled “Terra color” and was made up of 150 color and black and white photographs, made by Romanian and Chinese photographers. The official opening of the exhibit took place on the 3rd of October 2015, at the Museum for Traditional arts from Bucovina - Gura Humorului, in front of local authorities and photographers present at the International Film, Diorama and Photography festival “Autumn in Voronet”, XXXV edition. The public that was present at the event was greeted by Mihai Mardare - director of the House of Culture - followed by Marius Ioan Ursaciuc - mayor of Gura Humorului - who thanked the “Euro Foto Art” Association for the special way in which they involved themselves in organizing this 3 day International Festival. Asis. Prof. dr. Mircea Bunescu from the Hyperion University in Bucharest  was also invited to talk, as a representative of Tele Media Film. He appreciated the artistic level of the exhibited works. At the end, Mr. Ștefan Tóth AFIAPwas invited to give a talk, who presented the context in which this exhibition has been organized. He handed the Mayor, the director of the House of Culture and the director of the Bucovina Cultural center from Suceava the plaque of the Chinese Photography Festival, as a sign of gratitude for the support given in organizing the event. The exhibit of the Romanian and Chinese photographers will be opened for the public until the end of October 2015, with free access.

Between September the 28th 2015 and October the 28th 2015, “Euro Foto Art” Association organizes the 3rd edition of the Chinese Photo Festival in Romania, under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture, the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China and of the Association of Fine-Art Photographers of China. The Festival has started on Monday, the 28th of September, at 7 p.m, at the National Library of Romania, in Bucharest, with the opening of the joint exhibition of the Fine-Art Photographers of Romania and China, entitled “Romania and Picturesque China”. The exhibition -organized in partnership with the National Library of Romania and China Network Online - is made up of 150 images: 75 fine-art photos, made by remarkable creators of Romania and 75 fine-art photos made by well-known Chinese photographers. The exhibition dedicated to the National Day of China was inaugurated on Monday, the 28th of September, at 7 p.m, with the participation of the  Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China, HE Xu Felhong and of Mr. Yan Jianwu, Counsellor for Cultural Affairs of the Embassy. The Ministry of Culture was represented by Mr. Bogdan Stanoevici, Secretary of State, and the Romanian Cultural Institute of Beijing was represented by Mr. Constantin Lupeanu, its director. The inauguration was also attended by University Professor PhD Cristescu Ilie – the president of the China-Romania Friendship Association, Caras-Severin branch and by the fine-art photographer Ştefan Tóth AFIAP, president of ”Euro Foto Art” Association. The host of the event was the president of the well-known International Association, Ştefan Tóth A.FIAP who greeted the officials who took part in the event and then described the context in which the First Edition of the Chinese Photo Festival was launched 3 years ago. HE Xu Felhong welcomed the initiative of organizing such a Festival and appreciated the good cooperation relationships existing between Romania and China. The Secretary of State, Mr. Bogdan Stanoevici, appreciated the artistic value of the exhibits and assured the main organizer that the Ministry of Culture will continue to support this project for the following editions. Mr. Constantin Lupeanu, director of the Romanian Cultural Institute of Beijing announced that this year, the institution managed by him in Beijing will inaugurate the Joint Exhibition of the Fine-Art Photographers of Romania and China entitled ”Romania and picturesque China”, on the occasion of the National Day of China. Finally, Ştefan Tóth thanked all those present for their participation and handed over the plaquette of the Chinese Photo Festival in Romania to HE Xu Felhong, to the Secretary of State, Bogdan Stanoevici, to the Counsellor for Cultural Affairs, Yan Jianwu and to all the partners who helped to prepare and run the event. The musical ambiance was provided by the artist of Oradea Thurzó Sándor József, who performed on his viola several works from the Chinese repertoire: the Suite ”Xi She” by Fu Tong Wong, for viola, first hearing in Romania, and by Fu Tong Wong: ”Nostalgique”. The Chinese collection of pictures includes several series focused on interesting fauna and landscapes, while the collection of the Romanian fine-art photographers containes series of photos with the following subjects: essay, social photography, portraits and nudes, the majority of them in black and white. The Chinese Photo Festival in Romania comprises 18 photo exhibitions, inaugurated in several cities of Romania. The closing ceremony of the Festival will take place on the 28th of October, in Galaţi.

Opening of Chinese photography exhibition in Baia-Mare

Between September the 28th 2015 and October the 28th 2015, “Euro Foto Art” Association organizes the 3rd edition of the Chinese Photo Festival in Romania, under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture, the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China and of the Association of Fine-Art Photographers of China. The Festival has started on Monday, the 28th of September, at 7 p.m, at the National Library of Romania, in Bucharest, with the opening of the joint exhibition of the Fine-Art Photographers of Romania and China, entitled “Romania and Picturesque China”. The exhibition -organized in partnership with the National Library of Romania and China Network Online - is made up of 150 images: 75 fine-art photos, made by remarkable creators of Romania and 75 fine-art photos made by well-known Chinese photographers. The exhibition dedicated to the National Day of China was inaugurated on Monday, the 28th of September, at 7 p.m, with the participation of the  Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China, HE Xu Felhong and of Mr. Yan Jianwu, Counsellor for Cultural Affairs of the Embassy. The Ministry of Culture was represented by Mr. Bogdan Stanoevici, Secretary of State. In the same day, the joint exhibition of the fine-art photographers of Romania and China, entitled “Romania and Picturesque China”, was inaugurated at the “Petru Dulfu” County Library of Baia-Mare, at 2 p.m. The exhibition comprises a selection of 54 pictures made by Romanian and Chinese photographers. The audience was greeted by the fine-art photographer Felician Săteanu, member of “Euro Foto Art” Association, who presented the exhibited photos. The City Hall and the Local Council were represented by the fine-art photographer Ilie Tudorel, local counsellor, who appreciated the good relationships existing between the fine-art photographers of Romania and China. During the ceremony, the audience was offered free colour catalogues of the exhibition, created with the financial support of the Ministry of Culture and prepared by “Euro Foto Art” Association. The exhibition, organized in partnership with “Petru Dulfu” County Library of Baia-Mare, under the patronage of Baia-Mare County Council and Baia-Mare City Hall will be open on working days, between 08:00 – 19:00. Access to the exhibition is free of charge.

Exhibition of Chinese fine-art photographers in Bucharest

In preamble to the 3rd edition of the Chinese Photo Festival in Romania, the exhibition of the Chinese fine-art photographers – organized with the help of the partner organization, China Network Online - was set up in the “Universitatea” Passage of Bucharest, on Sunday, the 27th of September 2015, at 10.00. The exhibition comprised a selection of 60 photos - black and white and color – grouped into several series of images: nature, animals, and landscapes. The inauguration took place with the participation of a great number of fine-art photographers and photography lovers of Bucharest. The audience was greeted by the fine-art photographer Ştefan Tóth A.FIAP, president of “Euro Foto Art” Association and director of the festival. The event was also attended by Mr. Constantin Lupeanu, the director of the Romanian Cultural Institute of Beijing, who welcomed the initiative of organizing such a festival and announced that the joint exhibition of the Romanian and Chinese Fine-Art Photographers entitled ”Romania and Picturesque China” will be officially opened on the occasion of the National Day of China. The fine-art photographer Viorel Simonescu E.FIAP – recipient of the lifetime achievement award “Carol Pop de Szathmári - Szathmári Pap Károly”, member of honour of the ”Euro Foto Art” Association - appreciated the good cooperation relationships existing between the fine-art photographers of Romania and China. In only one day, the pictures on the easels provided by the partner organization “Bucureştiul meu drag” – “My Dear Bucharest” Association, were visited by more than 3000 photography lovers.

 Chinese Photo Festival in Romania

 

“Euro Foto Art” Association is organizing between the period 22 September – 22 October 2014, the 2nd edition of the Chinese Photo Festival in Romania. The Festival is organized under the patronage of Culture Ministry from Romania, Chinese Embassy from Romania and CPA – Chinese Photo Association. The opening of the Festival will be Friday, 26th of September 2014, 11 o’clock in the auditorium of the National Library of Romania, with the exposition of the Romanian and Chinese photo artists, named Romania and China picturesque. The exhibition organized in the partnership with the National Library of Romania and China Network Online, will present 200 pictures, from which 100 made by the best photo artists from Romania, and 100 pictures made by photo artist from China. The exhibition is dedicated to the anniversary of 65 years of establishment of the diplomatically relations between Romania and China. The exhibition was opened Friday, 26th September 2014, at 11.00 o’clock and visited by people from the following Romanian cities: Beius, Braila, Bucuresti, Gheorgheni and Oradea. Also at the opening ceremony took part Mr. Yan Jianwu, Cultural Adviser of the Chinese Embassy from Romania, Mrs. Irina Marin Cajal, secretary of the Culture Minister of Romania and Mr. Stefan Tóth A.FIAP, president of the “Euro Foto Art” Association. During the opening ceremony the organizers give certificate which testify their participation at this exhibition. The musical moments was offered by Mr. Thurzó Sándor József, a music artist from Oradea, which interpreted with violin many musical pieces from Romanian and Chinese repertoire. The exhibition is presenting the beautiful landscape and popular tradition from Romania and China. The exhibition is opened till 10th of October 2014. A reduced variant of the exhitions will be vernished on the 17th of Cotober 2014, in the partnership with Center for Preservation and Promotion of Traditional Culture Suceava and Promotion of Traditional Culture Suceava, under the partonage of the Suceava County Council. Universitatii 48, Suceava.Due to the good relation and collaboration between “Euro Foto Art” Association and  CPA – Chinese Photo Association the exhibition will be opened in December 2014, in the capital of China, Beijing. During the 2nd edition of the Festival, will be organized many exhibition made by the works of the Romanian and Chinese photo artists from different region of these countries. The CPA – Chinese Photo Association members will open an exhibition in Romania between 5 – 20 October 2014, at Cultural Center “Dunărea de Jos” from Galati. 29 September – 9 October 2014 will be presented in Euro Photo art Gallery an exhibition of the China Network Online. The exhibition named  - “5x China” of the photo artist Sfetan Tóth A.FIAP will be opened in the following places: 15 October – 1 November 2014 the County Library “Ion Minulescu” from Slatina (Olt)  30 September 2014, at 18.00 o’clock in the Casino Center Cluj Urban Culture 22 October  - County Library "Peter Dulfu" of Baia Mare, during the closing ceremony of the 2nd edition of the Chinese Photo Festival.Under the name “Impression from China” will be presented two exhibition of the photo artist Ovi d. Pop and Stefan Tóth A.FIAP. On the 4th October 2014, 12.00 o’clock will be opened in the Gallery Library "Octavian Goga" from Alesd the exhibition made by photo realized in china in 2012 and Museum Gallery "Arany János from Salonta with image made between 8 – 14 October from Shenzen, Zhuhai and Macau.


The Opening of China Photo Network Online in Galati
Friday, on the 11th of October 2013, was held in the "Lower Danube" Round Hall Cultural Center from Galati in the first edition of Photography Week of China, organized by the "Euro Photo Art" Association under the Ministry of Culture, the exhibition China Photo Network Online.  In the opening spoke photographer Nicolaie Sburlan, President of "Danube "Photo-club and Mr. Sergiu Dumitrescu, Cultural Manager of "Lower Danube" from Galati. Speakers appreciated the photos exposed and referred to the good relations between the Euro Photo Art Association, ”Wild Lilly” Photo-club from Oradea with Photo-club from Galati , in which it was possible to organize the Art Photographers exhibition from Zhuhai - China. Also, Mr. Sergiu Dumitrescu thanked the photo-artist Stefan Tóth AFIAP for the good and fruitful collaboration. In the opening, the young singer Ioana Bulgaru gave a short recital applauded by those present (who recently returned from a major music festival rom Bulgaria where he received an important award for interpretation). Those presents at the opening of the National Day of China, appreciated the works of colleagues from China expressing their wish to see other collections from this wonderful country named China, also Galaţi is twinned with a province from China.

Photo exhibition "Impressions of China"

In the first edition of Photography Week of China, was held on October 8th 2013, at 18:00 hour in the "Euro Photo Art" Gallery from Oradea, the exhibition entitled "Impressions of China", made up of the work of artist’s photographers Ovi D. Pop and Stephen Toth A.FIAP. Exhibition organized by the "Euro Photo Art" in partnership with the Embassy of China in Romania, under the patronaj of Ministry of Culture and Art Photographers Association of China what includes 101 black and white and color, photographed one year ago by these two photographers in various parts of China. The opening was attended by a large number of public lover of photography who filled the halls of the Gallery. The event was attended by Mr. Yan Jianwu, Cultural Counsellor of the Embassy of China in Romania, who represented His Excellency Ambassador Ms. Huo Yuzhen, Mr. Claudiu Pop Prefect of the Bihor county, Vice-mayor of Oradea, Mr.Ovidiu Muresan and Director of the Centre County Preservation of Traditional Culture Bihar, Dr. Adrian Dume and Mr. Zhou Min, secretary for cultural affairs of China Embassy in Romania. In the opening, photoartist Ştefan Tóth A.FIAP congratulated and handed Mr. Yan Jianwu, Cultural Counsellor of the Embassy of China in Romania a bouquet of flowers at his birthday. Further, photo-artist Stephen Tóth AFIAP presents the Nr.1 Certificate of Honor of the "Euro Photo Art" Association awarded to Mrs. Wang Yao, president of the China Art Photographers Association (CPA) and handed to Mr. Yan Jianwu, Cultural Counselor of the Embassy of China in Romania Certificate Association Honor nr.2 of the "Euro Photo Art". Further, the Chinese diplomat appreciated the idea of organizing the first edition of Photography Week of China in Romania and thanked to artist photographer Stephen Tóth AFIAP for the "surprise" moments in the opening, as well as the effort made by him for the development and promotion of collaboration between photographers from Romania and China for over 12 years. The Prefect of the Bihor county, Mr. Claudiu Pop expressed in his speech the joy of have in Bihor County the Chinese diplomat, as well as the willingness to tie in the economic field relations collaboration with Chinese partners. Exhibitor photographer Ovi D. Pop expressed his admiration of what he seen and photographed in different regions of China. Musical moments have been provided by artist Thurzó József Sándor, who interpreted several musical pieces by composers from China. During the opening, were presented on a large screen images made about the collaboration between photographers from China and China. In  the opening was released a color catalog of the exhibition appeared in caring of "Euro Photo Art" publishing  with the support of SC Duran 's Oradea. New exhibition organized within the Festival "Autumn of Oradea" will remain available to the visitors until October 17th 2013, from 08:00 - 19:00 hours, the entry fee is free

Photo exhibition " 3 X China"
In the first edition of Photography Week of China, took place on 8th of October 2013, 12:00 clock am in "Studio" Salon in the " Black Eagle" Palace from Oradea, the  exhibition of artist photographer Stefan Tóth AFIAP entitled "3 X China" . The opening attended in addition to a large number of photography lovers and the prefect of Bihor county, Mr. Claudiu Pop, Mr. Yan Jianwu, Cultural Counsellor of the Embassy of China in Romania , who represented His Excellency Ambassador Ms. Huo Yuzhen. Was also present at this eventMr. Zhou Min, secretary of cultural affairs of China Embassy in Romania. On the exhibition was  
displayed a selection of 66 photographs, taken by photographer from Oradea in the three creative journeys made in the most picturesque places of China: Jiazuo (2002), Tibet (2005) and Lishui (2007). In the opening, the exhibitor shared to the public a personal impressions about what he seen, lived and photographed in different parts of China. Mr. Yan Jianwu , Cultural Counsellor of the Embassy of China in Romania , emphasized the important role that his word had photographer Ştefan Tóth AFIAP, promoting links between photographers from Romania and China. Launch Week Photography China in Romania
Between 8th to 14th of October 2013, the "Euro Photo Art" Association organized the first edition of Photography Week of China, under the Ministry of Culture of Romania and China Art Photographers Association (CPA). The event was dedicated to the National Day of the Republic of China began on 7th  October, 2013, at 18:00 clock, at Centre for Urban Culture Casino from Cluj-Napoca in the presence of a large audience, lover of photography. At the event was also the photo artist Ştefan Tóth AFIAP (president of the "Euro Photo Art" Association and director of the event), Prof.Univ.Dr. Eugen Moritz from the University of Art and Design Cluj-Napoca, Department Photo-Video and Computer Image Processing and Mr. Cristian Manolache (Casion manager) . The event, organized in partnership with Centre for Urban Culture Casino Cluj and Photo Club "Stars" from Cluj Napoca, in addition to the visitors, attended the event the photographer Christian Filipescu member of the "Water Lily" Photo Club from Oradea, respectively apermanentsupporter of "Euro Foto Art" Association Zoltán Gardó . In his speech, photographer Ştefan Tóth AFIAP expressed the joy of launched in this wonderful space in the center of Cluj -Napoca, the first edition of Photography Week of China in Romania and a representative exhibition of Chinese Art Photographers Association (CPA). Prof. Univ. Dr. Eugen Moritz appreciated the artistic value of the exhibits, how the lighting and composition of the photos displayed. The exhibition of Photographic Artists in China is composed of the 65 color photographs, large format, including almost all photography genres: essays, portraits, landscapes, social and sports photos. The exhibition has been presented so far in cities like: Arad, Oradea, Craiova, and in Cluj-Napoca will remain available to the public until 17th of October 2013.
