IN TÎRGU MUREȘ

 

The 10th edition of the International Photography Festival “Carol Pop de Szathmári - Szathmári Pap Károly” organized by the International Association “Euro Foto Art” offered the opportunity to organize in Tîrgu Mureș personal exhibitions of the photographer Ștefan TÓTH István AFIAP, ESFIAP. The jubilee exhibition entitled "Surprised Moments" / "Tetten ért pillanatok" was first presented on August 9, 2021 in the Synagogue "Sion" in Oradea on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the life and 50 years of artistic activity of the famous artist photographer from Oradea. The jubilee exhibition will be presented in the Gallery of Bernády György House in Tîrgu Mureș and after it was opened in the “Euro Foto Art” Gallery, FIAP Exhibition Center Oradea - Romania (August 2021), FIAP Exhibition Center Uzhhorod - Ukraine (October 2021), Gallery of the Hungarian Association of Photographers in Budapest (October 2021), and the Knight's Hall of the "Károlyi" Castle in Carei (November 2021) and in the Gallery of the House of Culture "Nadány Zoltán" in Beretyóújfalu (HU), on January 21, 2022. With this On this occasion, a selection of 40 black and white and color photographs will be exhibited, made by the Oradean photographer Ștefan TÓTH István AFIAP, ESFIAP in the 50 years of artistic activity, in the three stages of photography development (analog, digital and smart phones). The photographer was born on 08.09.1951, in Tăuteu (Romania), flirted with photography from an early age (1964) and specialized in photographic art in self-taught form. He started as a photographer in 1973 with the work "Fighting with time", which was exhibited in the Dalles Hall in Bucharest, at the International Salon of Romania, organized under the auspices of the International Federation of Photographic Art (FIAP. In 1973 he became a member of the Romanian Association of Photographic Artists (of which he was president from 2007 to 2012), and in 1978 he became an artist of the International Federation of Photographic Art, respectively in the year he received the ESFIAP distinction. ”Nufărul” Oradea, respectively the President of the International Association “Euro Foto Art” since 2008, the only FIAP Regional Member in the world. most of the objects exhibited in a total inventory value of 20,000 euros In 2019 he became director of the FIAP Exhibition Center Oradea - Romania (the 17th in the world). From his works, 92 personal exhibitions and 57 main group exhibitions were organized, he participated in 53 national and international juries, he was declared a member and honorary advisor of over 20 Photographic Societies around the world. Since 2016, he has been the Vice President for Overseas Organizations of the Hungarian Photoclub Association (Hungarian Operational Member of FIAP). For 45 years I have been the lecturer of over 200 international courses of technique and photographic art, organized within the “Euro Photo Art” Academy Oradea which was graduated by over 2,000 photography lovers from several countries in Canada, R. Moldova, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, USA, Ukraine and Hungary. The opening ceremony of the exhibition organized by Bernády György House in partnership with the “Marx József” Photo Club Tîrgu Mureș in the locality took place on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, local time 17:00 in the presence of the author of his wife and a large audience, including and the photographer Bot Gyula EFIAP, the president of the “Marx József” Photo Club Tîrgu Mureș. The exhibition was opened by the renowned photographer Bálint Zsigmond from Târgu Mureș. During the opening, the exhibiting photographer took the floor, praising his collaboration with the Photoclub from Târgu Mureș and presenting the exhibited works. The musical moments were provided by the artist Thúrzó Sándor József, the representative of the Chamber Group "Duo Vardiensis" from Oradea, who will perform several songs from the international repertoire: "Gavotte und Double" for solo viola by Charlotte Hampe, "Winter Landscape in Japan" by Watanabe Shigebu “Hidden Creek” (Búvópatak) by Lászlóffy Zsolt (in the first audition in Târgu Mureș), “Celebrating the New Spring” by Mao Yuan and the song “Din drâmboaie” by Hilda Jerea. The songs were transcribed for rape by Thurzó (Sándor József). OPENING OF THE PERSONAL EXHIBITIONS OF THE ORADEA PHOTOGRAPHER ARTIST ȘTEFAN TÓTH ISTVÁN AFIAP, ESFIAP  

                        IN HAJDÚ-BIHAR COUNTY (HU)
The 10th edition of the International Photography Festival “Carol Pop de Szathmári - Szathmári Pap Károly” organized by the International Association “Euro Foto Art” as well as the Hungarian Culture Day offered the opportunity to open in the neighboring county two personal exhibitions of the photographer artist Ștefan TÓTH István AFIAP, ESFIAP. The first exhibition opened at the "Nadány Zoltán" House of Culture in Beretyóújfalu on Friday night, and the second on Saturday evening at the "Partium" House in Debrecen. The first personal exhibition entitled "Surprised Moments" / "Tetten ért pillanatok" was opened on Friday, January 20, 2022, local time 17:00 in the Bihor Region Gallery of the House of Culture "Nadány Zoltán" in Beretyóújfalu, in the presence of the author, his wife and of a large audience. Among those present was a delegation of guests from Marghita Municipality. The audience at the event was greeted by the director of the institution Lisztes Éva, who appreciated the good cultural relations between the exhibiting photographer and the institution he has been running for over 3 decades. The exhibition, consisting of a selection of 29 large photographs, was opened by the retired director of the Porkoláb Lajos House of Culture, who emphasized in his speech the artistic and organizational merits of the celebrated photographer. The jubilee exhibition was first presented on August 9, 2021 in the “Sion” Synagogue in Oradea on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the well-known Oradea photographer. The jubilee exhibition was also opened in the "Euro Photo Art" Gallery, FIAP Exhibition Center Oradea - Romania (August 2021), FIAP Exhibition Center Uzhhorod - Ukraine (October 2021), the Gallery of the Hungarian Photographers Association in Budapest (October 2021) and the Knight's Hall Károlyi Castle in Carei (November 2021). It is worth noting the involvement of the Berettyóújfalu Self-Government, which supported the local project of editing a wall calendar and awarding prizes (for each author of the image accepted and published in the calendar) in the amount of 1.3 million forints (over 3,500 euros) !!! The second personal exhibition organized with the financial support of “Magyar Házak” Non Profit Kft. "Partium" from Debrecen (HU). The exhibition includes 20 large black and white photographs photographed this year in the native village of the Hungarian poet and politician Kölcsey Ferenc from Satu Mare County (RO), which on January 22, 1823 completed the text of the Hungarian anthem and which since 1989 became the Day of Hungarian Culture. The audience present at the festive event was greeted by the director of the House "Partium" Stanik István, who appreciated the artistic level of the exhibits and thanked the photographer Oradean for this exceptional exhibition for the first time in Hungary. The personal exhibition was opened by the Deputy Mayor of Debrecen, Dr. Puskás István, who emphasized the importance of the Hungarian Culture Day, in which the exhibited photographs were very well integrated. THE YEARLY EXHIBITION OF THE MEMBERS OF THE EURO FOTO ART INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION
It is now a tradition that at the beginning of each year the members of the EFAIA present themselves in an exhibition, during the Carol Pop de Szathmári International festival. The opening took place on Monday, the 11th of February 2019, at 18.00 hours at the Euro Foto Art Gallery. 105 images were exposed, images taken by 70 artists from: England, Austria, Canada, Israel, Ireland, Russia, France, Serbia, Spain, The USA, Moldavia, Ukraine and Hungary. The public was saluted by Stefan Toth AFIAP, the president of the Euro Foto Art International Association. The images were presented by dr. Ramona Novicov, art critic. The musical moments were offered by Lucian Malita (violin), Alexandrina Chelu(voice) and Florian Chelu(guitar). This exhibition was also the closing event of the Carol Pop de Szathmári Festival, organized by the Euro Foto Art International Association. The exhibition, organized in partnership with the Gheorghe Sincai regional library under the patronage of the Bihor Regional Council, will be opened to the public until the 28th of February 2019 on working days between 8.00 and 19.00 hours. THE OPENING OF THE PHOTOGRAPHERS FROM ORADEA IN ITALY

The opening of the two artists's exhibition: Stefan Toth AFIAP and Ovi D. Pop EFIAP took place on Saturday, the 9th of February 2019, at 15.00 hours at the center of the FIAP from Montevarchi, Italy, in front of the authors and a large number of visitors. The exhibition called "From India to Japan" includes 40 black and white images, taken in the two far away Asian countries last and this very year. The public was saluted by Enzo Righeschi EFIAPs, the manager of the photoclub and of the FIAP. The members of the 7th edition of the International Salon Circuit, organized under the patronage of the FIAP and of the F. Mochi photography association from Montevarchi, were also present at the event. Stefan Toth AFIAP poited out the good relationship between  the Romanian and Italian photographers since 1994, started with the exhibition of Donatella Polizii Piata from Sicily. Ovi D. Pop EFIAP presented his results of different international salons. The exhibition will be opened to the public until the 23rd of February 2019.

THE ARTISTS FROM BÉKÉSCSABA HAD EXPOSED THEIR WORKS IN CLUJ-NAPOCA

The 7th edition of the Carol Pop de Szathmári International Photography Festival organized by the Euro Foto Art Association offered the opportunity to some artists from Hungary to expose at the Taylor's Tower from Cluj-Napoca. 40 monochrome and color images, taken by the members of Márvány photography workshop from Békéscsaba, were exposed. The exhibition was organized in partnership with the Center of Urban Culture from Cluj-Napoca, the Taylor's Tower and the Stars photoclub, under the patronage of the Cluj-Napoca city hall. Péter Katona, the president of the Hungarian workshop took the word. The public was saluted by Stefan Toth AFIAP, the president of the Euro Foto Art International Association and the manager of the festival. The images were presented by professor dr. Eugen Moritz from the Art and Design University. The musical moments were offered by Nagy Csongor(voice and guitar) from Turda. The exhibition will be opened to the public until the 21st of February 2019.

The 7th edition of the ”Carol Pop de Szathmári - Szathmári Pap Károly”, International Photography Festival, organized by the Euro Foto Art International Association, has offered the opportunity to the well-known artist-dr. Teodor Radu Pantea EFIAPs to open his  retrospective personal exhibition with 40 images. The opening took place on Thursday, the 31st of January 2019. The public was saluted by Felician Săteanu, representing the ”Petre Dulfu” regional Library of Baia Mare and also member of the Euro Foto Art International Association. Tóth Stefan AFIAP, the president of the EFA and the manager of the Carol Pop de Szathmári International Photography Festival, appreciated the high artisical level of the exposed images. During the exhibition, the "Mirror of memories" album including the 40 years in photography of dr. Teodor Radu Pantea was presented. The album was edited by Ovi D. Pop's Duran's ltd. THE COMMEMORATION OF THE VICTIMS OF HOLOCAUST

 

 

The Euro Foto Art International Association in partnership with the Protection of Historical Monuments Foundation from Bihor region and with the Jewish Community from Oradea have organized the "Auschwitz-A place of silence" exhibition during the 7th edition of the „Carol Pop de Szathmári – Szathmári Pap Károly” photography festival. The new exhibition including 45 monochrome images taken by the well-known artist, dr. Teodor Radu Pantea EFIAPs  is dedicated to the international day of commemoration of the victims of holocaust. The images were taken in Auschwitz and Birkenau in 2004, presenting these places like empty, dead spaces, not appropriate for living which keep the atmosphere of the terror that took place in there. The opening was on Sunday, the 27th of January 2019, at 16.00 hours at the Sion Neolog Synagogue. The public was saluted by Stefan Tóth István AFIAP, the president of the Euro Foto Art International Association and by Mr. Andrei Saidler, the manager of the Jewish Communitarian Center from Oradea. The author and also dr. Ramona Novicov, art critic, presented the exposed images. The musical moments were offered by Alexandrina Chelu (voice) and Florian Chelu (guitar). The exhibition will be opened to the public until the 26th of February 2019 from Tuesday until Sunday, between 9.00 and 17.00 hours. The International Photography Festival Launch

 

The launch of the “Carol Pop de Szathmári – Szathmári Pap Károly” International Festival

 

In a friendly environment, on the 11th of January 2017, at the FUGA Budapest Center of Architecture, the official opening of the 5th edition of “Carol Pop de Szathmari – Szathmari Pap Karoly” International Photography Festival took place. The festival is organized by the “Euro Foto Art” Association, with support from the Ministry of Culture. A large number of photographers and photography fans took part at this event, from different cities of Hungary and Romania. The public was greeted by Mr. Nagy Balint – director of programs and Ștefan Toth AFIAP – president of the festival and director of “Euro Foto Art”. They have discussed about the importance of this event in promoting European photographic art and have detailed the program of the Festival. His Excellency, Marius Lazurca – the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Romania in Hungary was invited to hold a speech by Mr. Gabriel Kohn (ministerial advisor). The Ambassador lauded the initiative of organizing such an event and that Romania’s Photography Day is also celebrated in the capital of Hungary. Following the Ambassador, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Radu Igazsag evoked the personality of Carol Pop de Szathmari – Szathmari Pap Karoly, followed by the presentation of a documentary titled “A painter at the dawn of Photography”, made by the Hungarian department of the Romanian National Television. Also during the events, Mrs. Eva Keleti was awarded a lifetime achievement medal for her work in photography. She was praised by Klara Szarka, a photography historian. During the event, several photography exhibitions could be visited, such as original and digitalized works by Carol Pop de Szathmari – Szathmari Pap Karoly. The original photos were provided by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Radu Igazsag. Other exhibitions that could be visited were the “Euro Foto Art Partners” exhibition, Dr. Igazsag’s personal exhibition titled “Kodak Camera 1914” and also by Janos Eifert EFIAP. At the closing of the vent, the curator and photography historian Karoly Kincses talked about her impressions about photography  and photographic art, as well as giving feedback on the portfolios of those present.

“Carol Pop de Szathmári - Szathmári Pap Károly” in Cernăuţi (UA)

The “Euro Foto Art” Association has started three years ago the International Photography Contest “Carol Pop de Szathmári - Szathmári Pap Károly”. The launch of the Festival is related to the birth date of the world’s first war photo reporter (11 January). This day has been declared, through Government Order nr. 458/0505.2010, to be The Photographic Art Day in Romania. The purpose of the international festival is to bring to the European and the world’s public opinion the special personality of the first Romanian photographer, his works as well as to organize various exhibitions in this celebratory spirit. For each edition of the festival, the “Euro Foto Art” Association invites photographers from a European country. The guests of honor of the 3rd edition of the festival, held under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture of Romania, have been the photographers of Ukraine. In this context, the official launch of this edition took place on January 10 2015 at 12 o’clock at the Ujgorod Fortress. With this occasion, an exhibition made up of digitalized photographs of Carol Pop de Szathmári - Szathmári Pap Károly, belonging to the collection of dr. Radu Igazság from Bucharest, has been presented. During the 3rd edition of the Festival, 35 exhibitions and documentary presentations have taken place in 16 towns from Romania, as well as in galleries from Serbia, Slovakia, Hungary and Ukraine. The closing festivity of the International Festival took place on Tuesday February 10 2015 at 16:00, in the Art Museum from Cernăuţi (Ukraine). The photographer Ştefan Tóth AFIAP – director of the „Euro Foto Art” Association and the director of the festival was present. The public that came at the event was greeted by miss Valentina Lubkivsca, the diretor of the Art Museum from Cernăuţi, who lauded the good connections with the „Euro Foto Art” Association which led to the organizing of this exhibition and other events. The general Consul of Romania has appreciated the importance of the connection between photographers from Romania and Ukraine and has praised the activities started by Ştefan Toth AFIAP, the president of the well-known European Association, who has traveled to Cernăuţi on many ocasions to honor with his presence the events that have been organized. The art critic Albert Komari has underlined in his speech the special scale of the International Photography Festival “Carol Pop de Szathmári - Szathmári Pap Károly” and the joy of organizing the closing ceremonies in Cernăuţi. Hochman appreciated the level of the events organized by the “Euro Foto Art” Association and thanked the collaborators of the European Cultural Organization for their efforts. The vice president of the “Pozitiv” Photo Club from Cernăuţi, the photographer Taras Perun thanked Ştefan Toth AFIAP for the effort made for strengthening the relationships between Romanian and Ukrainian photographers. At the end of the festivity, Ştefan Toth AFIAP took the stage to thank the management of the Art Museum for the way in which they support the „Euro Foto Art” Association initiatives and has mentioned that „although your country is in a special situation, I have traveled 500 km to bring you joy through this exhibition”. During the festivity, the opening of the VI International “Eurofotoart” Salon will take place. The Salon is organized by the “Euro Foto Art” Association, under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture from Romania. During the exhibition, 45 color and black & white large photographs will be presented, out of the total 96 accepted and awarded by the international jury. A total of 2429 photos have been submitted. The photographs have been made in various parts of Europe by artists from the “old continent” and others. The exhibition is organized in partnership with the Cernăuţi Art Museum, under the patronage of the Photographer Artists’ Association from Ukraine. It will be opened for visiting for two weeks.

The opening of the International „Euro Foto Art” Salon in Suceava.

The 3rd edition of the International Photography Festival „Carol Pop de Szathmári - Szathmári Pap Károly” organized by the „Euro Foto Art” Association, under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture, has made it possible to open an European Photography Salon in Suceava. In the downstairs hallway of the Center for Supporting Traditions in Bucovina, on University street 48, 96 easels with photographs that have been accepted and rewarded in the 6th edition of the International “Euro Foto Art” Salon organized by the “Euro Foto Art” Association, under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture from Romania. The color and black and white photographs have been selected by an international jury, out of the 2429 images sent for the salon. The photographs that were exposed have been made in various parts of Europe by photographers from the “old continent” and others. The debut of the exhibition took place on Tuesday, February 9 2015 at 12 o’clock in front of the manager of the “Bucovina” Cultural Center – Viorel Varvaroi, the director of the Center for Supporting Traditions in Bucovina – Vasile Ilie and the director of the Suceava Preserving and Promoting Traditional Culture centre – the photographer Victor T. Rusu. Also participating at the event was Mr. Ion Băiţan, the director of the Art School "Ion Irimescu", along with staff from the “Bucovina” Cultural Centre from Suceava. Ştefan Tóth AFIAP-photographer, took part in the event as well. He is the director of the “Euro Foto Art” Association and the director of the International Festival. He awarded the director of the Suceava Preserving and Promoting Traditional Culture centre - Victor T. Rusu with the Festival placket as a token of appreciation for the support given in organizing the exhibition. The honor guests of the exhibition were the photographers Vasile Paladean from   Cernăuţi (Ukraine) – member of “Euro Foto Art” Association and Nicolai Hauca, member of the “Pozitiv” photo club from Cernăuţi. The exhibition is organized under the patronage of the Suceava Local Council and will remain open for the public for a month.


The debut of the International photography Salon

in “Cukráren Samba in Nove Zamky (SL)

During the 3rd Edition of the International Photography Festival “Carol Pop de Szathmári - Szathmári Pap Károly”, organized by the “Euro Foto Art” Association, with the help of partner associations, under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture from Romania, an exhibition was organized in Cukráreň Samba” in Nove Zamky. The photographs that went on display were selected from the awarded works during the XIV International Photography Exhibition of Hungarian Photographers. The organizer of the exhibition was Tamas Thor, the secretary of the “Helios” Photo club from Komarno and the artistic leader of “Artcosro”. The opening of the exhibition took place on Wednesday 4 February 2015, in the presence of a numerous photography loving crowd. The public was greeted by Tamas Thor, who manifested his joy of presenting an international exhibition of this kind in the Gallery. Teodor Nagy, the president of the “Helios” Photo club presented the Salon that wanted to showcase the works of Hungarian photographers from the European Union. The exhibition will go on a tour, with openings being planned for the Dunajska Streda, Levice, Nesvady and Sturovo galleries. For the XIV edition of the international Salon, there have been over 1500 photographs sent, made by artists from Israel, Romania, Hungary and Slovakia. The exhibition will be available to the public until the 3rd of March, 2015.


The “Dialogue…” photographic exhibition at the Olt County Library “Ion Minulescu” – Slatina

On 10 February 2015, the photographic exhibition “Dialogue…” had its debut in the ~Nicolae Truță” exhibition hall of the Ion Minulescu Library. The event is part of the 3rd edition of the International Photographic Festival “Carol Pop de Szathmári - Szathmári Pap Károly”, organized by the “Euro Foto Art” Association, under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture. The exhibition was organized by the County Centre for Preserving and Promoting Culture Olt, in partnership with “Euro Foto Art” Association and “Alutus” Photo Club. The works presented were made by photographers from the “Nufărul” photo club from Oradea, coordinated by Ștefan Toth. The exhibition was presented in other galleries from across the country (Bucharest, Cluj Napoca, Galați, Târgu Mureș) but also abroad (China – Shenzen, Poland – Krosno, Slovakia – Kosice, Ukraine – Ujgorod and Hungary – Debrecen). Along photography lovers, two groups of school children, (one coordinated by prof. Dan Iancu – photographer, and another group from the National College “Ion MInulescu” – involved in an international project involving images) were also present at the exhibition. Florin Dumitrescu – the director of the County Centre for Preserving and Promoting Culture and Florin Cârstea – the director of the County Library, took part in the exhibition. The name of the event had a deeper meaning. If last year we started the inter-regional workshops through which we wanted to start a dialogue between the Oltenia-Ardeal and Moldavia-Banat regions as well as other areas, this time we will try to take it to another level, based on our possibilities and the manifested interest. This exhibition has a similar purpose, that of creating bridges and strong connections through photography. Olt County is next to be presented with photographs in cities such as Oradea, Baia mare, Satu Mare


The opening of the International Exhibition in Alesd (RO)

The International Photography Festival „Carol Pop de Szathmári - Szathmári Pap Károly” (registered trademakr at OSIM – State Office for Inventions and Trademarks), organized by the „Euro Foto Art” Association, offered the possibility of organizing an international photography exhibition in Aleşd, on the 30th January 2015. The event took place on the penultimate day of January, at 5 pm, in the Gallery of the “Octavian Goga” Library from Aleşd, in front of many people. The public was greeted by Miss Ardelean Georgeta, representing the Library, who underlined the fact that this time in the exhibited photographs the villages of the European Union are shown. After this, Mr. Ştefan Tóth AFIAP, the president of the “Euro Foto Art” Association and director of the International Festival, talked about the context in which the ideea of organizing the International Photographer’s Salon for Romanian and Hungarian artists from across the world was first born. In this context, he presented the catalogue of the first edition of the festival, in which the work of Létai Zoltán, photographer and vice-mayor of Aleşd is shown. At the ending, the vice-mayor was thankful that the “Euro Foto Art” Association brought to Aleşda new exhibition of photography and for the musical moments offered by Ioana Vencel and Mariana Vlad, students in the 8th grade of the „Constantin Şerban” High school from Aleşd. All those who are interested in photography can enjoy the exhibition, organized under the patronage of the Aleşd City Hall and with the support of Miss Ioana Achim. The international photography festival „Carol Pop de Szathmári - Szathmári Pap Károly” (OSIM registered trademark), organized by the ”Euro Foto Art” Association, under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture, offers yearly the possibility of giving special distinctions to exceptional photographers, as a sign of appreciation and acknowledgement for their lifetime achievements in the field of photography. The curator of the “Euro Foto Art” Association has decided to award this title to the famous photographer Boldîr Victor EFIAP from Craiova, who has recently passed away. The „Carol Pop de Szathmári - Szathmári Pap Károly” (OSIM-registered trade mark) gold medal number 5, along with its Certificate will be given to mr. Boldîr’s wife by Ştefan Tóth AFIAP, the president of the “Euro Foto Art” Association, in Craiova, on the 19th of March 2015, with the occasion of organizing the exhibition titled “In memoriam Victor Boldîr EFIAP”


Croatian Exhibition in Galaţi (RO)

The International Photography Festival „Carol Pop de Szathmári - Szathmári Pap Károly”, held by the „Euro Foto Art” Association, has offered the possibility of organizing in Galaţia representative exhibition of the works of Croatian photographers. The exhibition was made possible in partnership with the Cultural Center and the “Dunărea de Jos” Photo club from Galaţi, under the patronage of the Local Council. The exhibition is made up of 100 black and white as well as color photographs made by the 30 artists belonging to the “Osijek” Photo club from Croatia (partner organization of the “Euro Foto Art” Association). The opening of the exhibition took place on Monday 26th January 2015 at 5 p.m. in front of a numerous public. Nicolae Sburlan, the president of the “Dunărea de Jos” Photo club from Galaţi, talked about the important role that Carol Pop de Szathmári - Szathmári Pap Károly played in promoting the photographic art in Romania and about the exhibitet photographs. Musical moments were ofered by a young and talented student from Galaţi, that played the piano. The exhibition will remain open for the interested public until February 5th 2015. Access is free


Exhibition in Békéscsaba on the Hungarian Culture Day

In the hallway of the Békés Library from Békéscsaba County, on Thursday January 22nd 2015 at 1 p.m., during the manifestations dedicated to the Hungarian Culture Days, the opening of the IX edition of the ’’International Salon of Romanian and Hungarian photographers from across the world” took place. Along a numerous public, Adela Rusu AFIAP and Ovi D. Pop from the “Nufărul” Photo Club from Oradea participated as well. Debreceni Kiss Helga from the „Bartók Béla” High School presented a few traditional Hungarian melodies, played on the zither. Two pairs from the Csaba Band for folk dances, made up of Szabó Alexandra, Zsíros Evelin, Szűcs Attila and Ökrös Daniel presented a few Romanian and Hungarian folk dances from Transylvania. After the two cultural moments, the public was greeted by Miss Rakonczás Szilvia, the director of the County Library. She underlined the importance of the exhibit, which took place during the manifestations dedicated to the Hungarian Culture Day. Ştefan Tóth AFIAP, the director of the International Festival pointed out that this exhibit takes place during the 3rd edition of the International Photography Festival „Carol Pop de Szathmári - Szathmári Pap Károly”, organized by the “Euro Foto Art” Association, under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture. He presented the context in which the IX edition of the International Salon was organized and thanked the management of the Library and the director for the exceptional conditions offered for presenting this event in Békéscsaba. Mr. Toth’s also thanked for the fact that this international exhibition will be presented in other public libraries from Békés County. The event ended after the second part of the folk dances presented by the two pairs of dancers.


Life Merit Award for Viorel Simionescu EFIAP (Bucharest)

International Festival “Carol Pop de Szathmari- Szathmari Pap Karoly”, organized by “Euro Foto Art” Association under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture, offers yearly grant Merit Awards for life activity. As a recognition for lifetime activities in the service of photography art in Romania and not only, the “Euro Foto Art” curators decided this year to offer the Life Merit Medal “Carol Pop de Szathmari - Szathmari Pap Karoly” number 4 to photographer artist Viorel Simionescu EFIAP of Bucharest. The medal was handed over at the photographer’s home on Photographic Art Day by University Professor dr. Igazsag Radu, member of the Euro Foto Art Association curatory. The photographer artist was born June 23rd 1937 and began photographing in 1959. In the year 1965 he becomes a member of the Photography Artists Association (AAF), being to this day the longest living Romanian photographer. In 1973 he became a member in the Chairman Committee, having been elected President of the Youth Photography Committee. In 1976, he is awarded the distinction of artist in the International Federation of Photographic Art (AFIAP) and in 1988 he is awarded EFIAP. He participated as an AAF representative at the FIAP Congress in Spain (Barcelona 1979) and Denmark (Elsinor 1981) as well as at the international FIAP Photography for Youth seminars in Switzerland, Hungary, Bulgaria, Poland, Yugoslavia, Germany and Romania (1977-1989). He was also a permanent member in the world committee for Photography for Youth by FIAP. With his pictures, he participated in hundreds of international exhibitions and was awarded hundreds of times. In the 1981 he obtained the FIAP gold medal in Argentina and the same at the 12th edition of the International Romanian Salon. He published over 2000 images in albums and relevant Romanian publications. Not in the least, he published his personal album intitled “The Bucharests near Bucharest”. Retrospective „Ovi D. Pop”

In a familiar environment, at "Kosher Art Gallery" from Oradea (Crinului Street), on Friday, January 16, 2015, at 18:00, took place the varnishing of the personal exhibition "Retrospective Ovi D. Pop" in the presence of the author and a large number of photographic art lovers. The exhibition is held within the third edition of the International Festival of Photography "Carol Pop of Szathmári-Szathmári Pap Károly" (a trademark registered OSIM), and it is organized by "Euro Photo Art" Association, under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture. The exhibition includes a selection of 30 black and white and colored photographs, taken by the famous photographer from Oradea, member of the Photographic Club "Water Lily" (“Nufărul”), during the last two years. The exhibited photographs were subject to a number of national and international exhibitions of photography art and rewarded with dozens of awards, medals and mentions. The exhibited works were presented with a particularly sensitivity by Vesa Aursulesei, who appreciated their originality. These photos are engaging the viewer into a dialogue. The photographer Stefan Toth AFIAP, president of the Association "Euro Photo Art" and Photographic Club "Water Lily" (Nufărul) expressed his satisfaction for the fact that he was agreed to mentor the exhibitor artist photographer, who skillfully applied his advice. The photographer thanked the three "muse ladies" for organizing the personal exhibition and for making possible to reach such artistic level in a short time. The musical moments were provided by artists Alexandrina Chelu and Florian Chelu, and the exhibition was officially opened by Andrei Sella, gallery director. The exhibition organized by "Euro Photo Art" Association in partnership with the Jewish Community of Oradea and JCC Oradea will remain available to the public for a month, to which entry is free.

Inauguration of the International Festival of Photography

„Carol Pop of Szathmári - Szathmári Pap Károly”

Saturday, January 10, 2015, 12:00 o’clock, at the Gallery of the City of Ujhgorod (UA), took place the inauguration of the third edition of the International Festival of Photography "Carol Pop Szathmári - Szathmári Pap Károly". The festival is organized by "Euro Photo Art" under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture and it includes over 30 exhibitions and film screenings conducted in Serbia, Slovakia, Romania, Ukraine and Hungary. The guests of honor at this year’s edition were the photography artists from Ukraine. The launching ceremony was attended by Mrs. Consul Judit Bőcs from the General Consulate of Hungary in Uzhhorod, who appreciated the idea of organizing the International Festival. The President of the Photography Artists of Transcarpatia Association, with headquarters in Ujhgorod, Mr. Norba Volodimir, stressed the importance of the partnership with the Association "Euro Photo Art", which allowed the organization of the digital photo exhibition consisting of works by renowned photographer Carol Pop of Szathmári - Szathmári Pap Károly. The photographer Stefan Tóth AFIAP, president of the "Euro photo Art" Association and the director of the international festival, also present at the event, thanked the leadership of the City of Uzhgorod and the Photography Artists Association of Transcarpatia for the conditions under which the launching ceremony of the international festival was held and for organizing the exhibition. Afterwards he handed over the Carol Pop Szathmári - Szathmári Pap Károly plague and a diploma of merit to Norba Volodimir. After the ceremony, in the conference hall of Hotel "Druzba" was held the presentation of the documentary film about Carol Pop Szathmári - Szathmári Pap Károly made by the Hungarian editorial from the Romanian Television. At the events from Ukraine participated also the photography artists Adela Rusu AFIAP and Ovi D.Pop, members of the Photographic Club "Water Lily" („Nufărul”) from Oradea.

CPSz - Sz.P.K in Australia, USA and Europe

International Photography Festival Carol Pop Szathmári - Károly Pap Szathmári offered the opportunity to present the documentary film about the first war photographer in the world. After the success enjoyed by film presentation entitled "A painter at the dawn of photography" by Hungarian editorial of TVR at the launch of the International Festival at the Institute Balassi - Hungarian Institute from Bucharest the film was shown in several countries. So Sunday 9 February 2014 in the Great Hall of the Reformed Church San Fernado Valley Reseda in Los Angeles California (U.S.), 18858 Erwin St, Reseda, in the presence of a large audience was shown the film made by TVR. The audience present at the event was welcomed by His Holiness Jakabfyy Zsolt priest and Paul Bock talked about the life of photographer Carol Pop Szathmári - Károly Pap Szathmári, a member of the "Euro Photo Art" Association. The documentary was presented with great success in the presence of a large audience and Hungarian Casino of the Sydney - Australia, Chernovtsy (Ukraine), Iasi (Romania) and Chisinau (Republic of Moldova).

International Exhibitionin Targoviste

The Museum of History from the Royal Court Museum Complex is hosting from February 17, 2014 an international photography exhibition, organized by the" Euro Photo Art" in partnership with the photographer from Targoviste. The elegant cymas of Museum were installed 95 black and white photographs and color accepted and awarded in the fifth edition of the "EuroFotoArt" International Exhibition. Because of bad weather that swept over this region of the country, the exhibition has been postponed to 14 February 2014. At the opening was attended a large number of photographers and photography lovers in the region from city of Targoviste. The audience present at the event was welcomed by Photographers Group President from Targoviste, photographer Ion Marculescu, who in his speech appreciated the relationship between organization headed by him and the "Euro Photo Art", which allowed the opening of this exhibition. Also a former president praised the contribution AAFR Stephen Tóth AFIAP for Photographic Art Day formalization year Romania. Exhibition organized in the second edition of the International Festival of Photography "Carol Pop Szathmári - Szathmári Károly Pap" will remain available to the visitors for a month.

Free International University of Moldova (FIUM) took place Monday, February 10, 2014, at 12:00, in the presence of a large number of students and teachers, the closing ceremony of the second edition of the International Festival of Photography "Carol Pop Szathmári - Szathmári Károly Pap. The audience was welcomed by Phd.prof. TAU Ambassador Nicholas, Vicerector - International Relations, who appreciated the initiative of organizing the closing ceremony of the International Festival in Chisinau, with inauguration of photo exhibition 'Impressions of China "artwork made up of photographer Stefan Toth AFIAP. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotenţial's of Republic of China in the Republic of Moldova, HE Tong Mingtao appreciated quality of the photos displayed and congratulated photographer Stephen Tóth AFIAP for having traveled four times to China to make these pictures special. Poiată Anataol photographer Photographers Artists Union of the Moldova Chairman thanked for the opportunity given to the second edition of the International Festival of the present work UAFM members in Bucharest, Oradea and Iasi. AFIAP photographer Stephen Toth, director of the International Festival has thanks for the opportunity given to organize the closing ceremony of the festival and organizing international photo exhibition "Impressions of the China" in Chisinau, then handed Drei. Ma Linjuan, director of the Confucius Institute ULIM the plaquette festival, which officially closed after the second edition of the festival. Finally dignitaries were invited to a Chinese tea tasting. The exhibition includes a selection of 35 color photographs made in four different regions of China. Confucius Institute at the request of the ULIM Chisinau, the exhibition was donated by the author of the exhibition, photographer Stephen Tóth AFIAP under free.

Special Events in Iasi

Amphitheatre Hall of the House of Culture Iasi City was filled to capacity on the evening of Saturday, February 8, 2014. In the presence of over 100 photographers and photography lovers attended the exhibition members of the Union of Art Photographers from Moldova (UAFM), which in the second edition of the International Festival of Photography Carol Pop Szathmári - Szathmári Károly Pap was opened and in Bucharest and Oradea. The event was attended photographer Anatol Poiată Chisinau, President of UAFM and Stephen Tóth AFIAP from Oradea, Festival Director. The audience present at the opening was welcomed by Mr. Ady Cristi director of Culture of Iaşi, who appreciated the importance of the festival and the joy of having such photography personalities in Iasi from Romania and the Republic of Moldavia Documentation. Photographer Anatol Poiată expressed his joy to be present in Iasi, respectively as guest of honor of the International Festival of Photography and thanked to Photographer Club management for their help in installing the exhibition of artist photographers from Chernovtsy in Iasi. Still photographer Stephen Tóth AFIAP spoke about festival and thanked to the Hose of Culture director for the conditions offered to organize this events in Iaşi and handed over the representative the International Festival plaque.  As a sign of gratitude and appreciation for the cooperation envisaged a plaque was awarded to photographer and artist Anatol Poiată from Chisinau. Finally was presented and followed with great interest the TVR editorial film documentary about the first Hungarian world war photographer Carol Pop Szathmári.

 

Unforgettable evening in Cernovtsy - Ukraine

In the presence of an audience and local and central media held in Chernovtsy Museum of Art exhibition made after the 35 original photographs by Carol Pop Szathmári owned by collector Professor Igazsag Radu of Bucharest. The exhibition was opened in partnership with the Museum of Art, in the second edition of the "Carol Pop Szathmári" International Festival of Photography organized by the "Euro Photo Art" Association under the Ministry of Culture. To the opening was attended MS Eleonora Moldovan General Consul of the General Consulate of Romania in Chernovtsy and artist photographer Stephen Tóth AFIAP, Festival Director. The audience present at the opening was welcomed by Madam Inna Kițul, Chernovtsy Art Museum director, who thanked to the Festival organizers for the initiative taken by the Museum to provide this exceptional exhibition. General Consul in Chernovtsy congratulated in Ukrainian the initiative of organizing the exhibition, which enriches the cultural good cooperation relations between Romania and Ukraine. Stephen Toth AFIAP president of the "Euro Photo Art" and expressed his joy for the fact that in the last few years returns to the beginning of each year with one event in Chernovtsy, where it feels like home, surrounded by many friends. Photographer Igor Timoficiuc President photo club "Positive" appreciated the good relations of cooperation between artist’s photographers from Romania and Ukraine. Mrs. Valentina Diakovska head of Ukraine Cultural Foundation in Chernovtsy which revised with the photographer Stefan Toth said the idea of organizing the exhibition. At the end of the opening AFIAP photographer Stephen Toth, handed Mrs. Inna Kițul, art director of the Museum of International Photography Festival booklet. At headquarters photo club "Positive" in the German House in Chernovtsy was presented documentary film about Carol Pop TVR Szathmári. After the screening, director of the International Festival handed artist and photographer Igor Timoficiuc President photo club "Positive" festival booklet.

 Opening in Peter Dulfu County Library Baia Mare

Peter Dulfu Library Museum in Baia Mare has been organized in the second edition of the International Festival of Photography "Carol Pop Szathmári - Szathmári Pap Károly " the exhibition of Photo Club members "Vasile Vénig László " from Carei. The exhibition took place in the presence of a large audience, photography lover Friday, February 7, 2014, at 17:00. The audience was welcomed by Dr Teodor Ardelean, library director after then the deputy mayor of Baia Mare Ludescher István present at the event welcomed the initiative of organizing the exhibition of Photo Club members from Carei in Baia Mare within the International Festival. In his speech photographer Attila Hago Nandor president of the Vasile Vénig László photo club expressed the joy of the exhibition participants and thanked to the County Library Director for the opportunity given. The exhibition displayed 60 color and black and white photographs by members of photo club. Finally, Folk Art students from Baia Mare gave to the participants multiple musical moments. The exposition of Vasile Vénig László photo club members will remain available to the visitors for a month.

Exhibition from Hungary in Slovakia

International Photography Festival Carol Pop Szathmári - Szathmári Károly Pap was opened on February 4, 2014 in the Gallery Podunajské Múzeum v Komarna (Zichy Palace) - Palatínova č. 13, from Komarno - Slovakia first exhibition of photography. On cymas gallery were installed 35 photographs taken by members of the Photo club Győri Association from Győr - Hungary. The opening took place in a context friendship, in the presence of a large number of photographers of the two countries. Spoke at the opening of the new President Theodore Nagy photo club "Helios" Komarno (Slovakia) and recently elected president of the Photo club Győri Association from Gyor Krisztián Lakatos. The event was attended by Eng. photographer Stefan Pirohár President photo club "Hexagon" from Érsekújvár. Between the two Photo Clubs from Slovakia and Hungary there is a special partnership from 1980. Watre Lily” Photo Club  “Exhibition in Oradea

It has become a tradition at the beginning of each year the members of Photo Club "Water Lily" from Oradea (CFNO) to present an exhibition of photographic art the most representative works produced in the last year. That was the case this year, but this time, within second edition of the International Festival of Photography "Carol Pop Szathári - Szathmári Károly Pap," organized by the "Euro Photo Art", under the Ministry of Culture. This year's exhibition includes 101 color and black and white photographs made by artist photographers: Baba Filimon Ciprian, Ciobanu Marius, Chis Dorin, Dancoglu Constantin EFIAPb,  Demeter Constantin, Filipescu Christian, Ene Cristian AFIAP, Ovi D. Pop, Petrila Gheorghe EFIAP, Stan Gelu AFIAP, Stan Valentina AFIAP, Rusu Adela Lia AFIAP, Szabó Claudiu EFIAP, Talpoş Gheorghe, Tóth Ştefan AFAP şi Vrabie Cristian Gelu. Many of the works exhibited have participated over the previous year to dozens of National and International Salons of Photographic Art, receiving numerous awards and medals in various parts of the world. The exhibition was held Tuesday, February 4, 2014, at 18:00 Gallery "Euro Photo Art" in Oradea, Market December 1 no. 12 attended by a large number of members photo club and photography lovers. In the opening vernissage photographer Stefan Tóth AFIAP CFNO President appreciated the outstanding results achieved by the famous Oradea Photo Club members in different parts of the world during the past year in the context of national and international salons of photography. As Director of the International Festival photo club thanked to the members for the manner in which he participated with their work at national and international salons organized by the "Euro Photo Art" and in the second edition of the International Festival. County deputy director of the Center for the Preservation and Promotion of Traditional Culture Bihor Mircea Jacan appreciated the important role he played for 38 years the Photographic Club "water lily" in the cultural life of Oradea and Bihor County. Szabo Claudius EFIAP photographer appreciated the exhibited works and how photo club members were involved in the preparation of the exhibition. At the opening were awarded the trophies of excellence offered to the "Water lily" photo club artist photographers, who obtained the best results in different National and International Salons of Photographic Art. First place went to Stan AFIAP photographer Valentina (2870 points) and second place was won by Adela Lia Rusu AFIAP. Third place went to Ovi D. Pop artist photographer; fourth place went to Cristian Ene AFIAP. The 5th place was obtained by Constantin V. Dancoglu EFIAPb artist photographer who has been awarded within the festivity with the title of honorary member of CFNO. The musical moments was provided by artists Eva Costin and Beáta Ichim from the "Varadinum" String Quartet from Oradea, to which the president of the "Euro Photo Art" handed them the booklet of the International Festival of Photography. The exhibition was opened officially by photographer Stephen Tóth AFIAP, President of "Water lily" Photo Club and the "Euro Photo Art" Association from Oradea. The new photography exhibition will remain available to the public until February 27, 2014, on weekdays between the hours of 08:00 - 19:00 and entry is free.

Hungarian International  Exhibition in Carei

Second edition of the International Festival of Photography "Carol Pop Szathmári - Szathmári Pap Károly," organized by the "Euro Foto Art" Association under the Ministry of Culture give the opportunity to opening in Carei the Hungarian International photo exhibition. Károlyi Castle Knights Hall held the opening of the XIII edition of the Hungarian Photographic Art International Exhibition, in the presence of the town mayor Mr. Kovács Jenő. The event was attended by the representative of the World Union of Artist Photographers Hungarian (based in Budapest), Attila László Kovács photographer and photographer Ştefan Tóth AFIAP, Festival Director. The audience was greeted by the Mayor of Carei, who appreciated the role that it plays the Vasile Vénig László Photo club, in the cultural life of the village. The vice President of the Hungarian World Union Artist Photographers (MFVSZ), László Kovács Attila from Sfântul Gheorghe presented the context it has been organized this international exhibition of photographic art and congratulated the Photo Club for the proposed initiative to display the exhibition in Carei. AFIAP photographer Ştefan Tóth, director of the International Festival congratulated the photo club Vasile Vénig László from Carei, for the exemplary manner in which they were involved in the second edition of the International Festival of Photography "Carol Pop Szathmári - Szathmári Károly Pap and handed to artist photographer Attila Hago Nandor the Festival marked booklet. Another booklet was handed also to the Vice-President of the Hungarian World Union Artist Photographers, László Kovács Attila, in gratitude for their involvement in the second edition of the International Festival. Also spoke at the opening the referent of Directorate of Culture and Sport George Dragoş and President of the Vasile Vénig László Photo club from Carei, Hago Attila Nandor photographer. The exhibition includes 72 black and white photographs and color and will remain available to the visitors for a month.

 



 

Exhibition artist photograpers from Oradea to Alesd

The second edition of the International Festival of Photography "Carol Pop Szathmári - Szathmári Károly Pap," organized by the "Euro Photo Art" under the Ministry of Culture has provided the possibility of opening the Aleşd a photo exhibition from Oradea. In this context based on existing good partnership with City Hall of Aleşd on cymas of Gallery Library "Octavian Goga" from Aleşd were installed a selection of 44 black and white and color photographs made by artists photographers: Ágoston Zsolt, Bodó László şi Morvay-Szabó Edina Éva. These tree photographers form Oradea are graduates the technical and art photography course led by President "Water lily" Photographic Club from Oradea, at the end of 2013. At completion of the course, from the work of the three graduates has been organized in the Black Falcon Palace Studio Hall the first exhibition titled debut. Alongside this three photographers have their work successfully participated in the national and international salons juries accepting more than one of their images. In this context the eighth edition of the Romanian also Hungarian International Exhibition of Photographic Artists from Everywhere international jury accepted two works of Morvay-Szabó Edina Éva. In addition to accepting a large number of pictures, many from them were even awarded. Therefore the work of Zsolt Agoston entitled "Composition" obtained booklet "Premfoto" in the eleventh edition of the International Exhibition of Photographic Art "Premfoto 2014". Oradea photographers artworks exhibited at Aleşd include many genres of photography: landscapes, portraits, nudes, socio-photo essay, and photo journalism. The group exhibition entitled "Dialogue" took place in the presence of a large number of photography lovers and authors: Agoston Zsolt László Bodo and artist photographer Stephen Tóth AFIAP founder and president of the Photographic Club "Water lily" on Friday 31 January 2014, at 18:00, the audience at the event was welcomed by Mrs. Georgeta Ardelean responsible of Octavian Goga Library from Aleşd. The works on display were presented by photographer Zoltán Létai, Deputy Mayor of Aleşd. In the conclusion of vernissage, AFIAP photographer Stephen Toth, director of the International Festival handed Létai Zoltán Deputy Mayor of Aleşd the Festival booklet. The exhibition of Galati Photo Club members in Oradea

Second edition of the "Carol Pop de Szathmári - Szathmári Pap Károly" International Festival of Photography  organized by the "Euro Photo Art" Associatio under the Ministry of Culture was opening in Oradea, given the opportunity of a photo exhibition from Galati. In this context, based on a good partnership with the "Dunarea de Jos" Photoclub from Galati, on the cymas of the "Nufărul" Gallery Studio of Photographic Club, in the Black Eagle Palace from Oradea  were installed a selection of 60 black and white and color photographs taken by artists photographers: Ilie Stan, Iulian Palade, Cornelia Moscaliuc Leonard Ghinita, Bercea Ciprian Doru Ungureanu Oliviu Peony, Laurentiu Iordache, Stefan Andronache, Sabina League, Beatrice Caitas Roxana Antistescu Adina Dobrotă, Reti Cosmin Florin Gilcanu, Cornel Gingăraşu Andrei Coman, Claudia Balaban, Sorin ash Sburlan Razvan Nicolae Sburlan. The artworks of photographers from Galați include several genres of photography: landscapes, portraits, nudes, socio-photos, and photo journalism. "Dunarea de Jos" as photoclub was founded in 2001, in the Cultural Center off "Lower Danube", which now has 31 photographers, including many with the AAFR membership (Cornel Gingăraşu, Sorin  Fraşina, Ştefan  Andronache, Nicolaie Sburlan şi Laurentiu  Iordache). The photoclub organizes monthly exhibitions in the Cultural Center Gallery of photographic artists from Romania and from different countries. Thus, in the second edition of the Festival was inaugurated the exhibition of artists photographers of the "Felföldi" Union Photographers from Kazinbarcika (Hungary). The works o photoclub members have successfully participated in various international exhibitions in Bulgaria, Italy, Malta, Moldova and Ukraine. From 2013 Photoclub "Lower Danube" from Galaţi became partner organization of the  "Euro Photo Art" Association from Oradea. Based on existing outstanding collaboration between photography art class from Art School from Galati led by photographer Nicholas Sburlan, the most talented 25 graduates are oriented to become permanent members of the Photo Club from Galați known. The exhibition "Photographic records" was held Wednesday, January 29, 2014, at 18:00, which attended a large number of photographers artists from Oradea. About excellent cooperation existing between the "Euro Photo Art" Association from Oradea and Photoclub "Dunarea de Jos" spoke photographer Stephen Tóth AFIAP Festival Director. The works were presented by artist Constantin Dancoglu EFIAPb photographer and the exhibition was officially opened by photographer Stephen AFIAP Tóth, president of the "Euro Photo Art" Association and the Photo Club "Nufărul" Oradea. Musical moments were provided by artist Lucian Malita. New photography exhibition will remain open to the visitors for a month. Film projection in Novi Sad about Carol Pop of Szathmári

The ”Carol Pop Szathmári - Károly Pap Szathmári” International Photography Festival organized by the Euro Photo Art Association under the Ministry of Culture, was presented to 30 students of the class led by Professor Bunyik Lili, Thursday, January 23, 2014 at 14:00 in the projection room of the Hungarian High School from Novi Sad (Serbia) documentary film entitledA painter at the dawn of photography” made by Hungarian editorial office from Romanian National Television. The personality and the European dimension of the first photographer in the world were presented by photographer Géza Lennert EFIAP, editor of the journal Jó pajtás. After the projection, photographer answered  to questions asked by students who have followed with great interest the projection.

 

Movie night in Oradea about Carol Pop of Szathmári

The Carol Pop de Szathmári - Szathmári Pap KárolyInternational Photography Festival organized by the Euro Photo Art Association under the Ministry of Culture patronage, was presented Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at "Nufărul" Photographic Club in the Palace Eagle from Oradea, the documentary film entitled ”A painter at the dawn of photography” made by Hungarian editorial office from Romanian National Television. After the screening was followed a discussions about the role that had Carol Pop Szathmári - Károly Pap Szathmári in promoting photography and the role that private collectors and procurement of its original photos taken by him over the years.

Special opening in Cluj Napoca

In the International Photography Festival Carol Pop Szathmári - Károly Pap Szathmári organized by the Euro Photo Art under the Ministry of Culture, was inaugurated Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at 18:00 in the Stars Gallery from Cluj Napoca the international exhibition entitled Cities of European Union. The works on display were made from images accepted and awarded in the International Salon of Photographic Artists Romanian and Hungarian from everywhere, at its eighth edition. On the Day of Hungarian Culture event representative attended the Consulate General of Hungary from Cluj Napoca, Mr. Péter Csulák consul, deputy mayor representative Mrs. Anna Horváth, Mr Tamás Szabó and Ștefan Tóth AFIAP photographer, president of the "Euro Photo Art" Association and Festival Director. The audience was greeted by Ms Klára Essig, then photoartist Ștefan Tóth AFIAP, president of the "Euro Photo Art" and director of the International Festival presented the context in which it was organized the eighth edition of the International Exhibition. The Consul Csulák Péter presented as a model of coexistence the International Exhibition, which celebrates the culture of the two peoples. Prof.univ.dr Dorel Găină compared the Gallery and the exhibited works with garden of Eden. Musical moments were provided by the String Quartet High School of Music from Cluj Napoca. The guests of honor were the singers: Alexandra Anusca (soprano) and Deák Andor (tenor). Finally the international festival director handed out to artist photographer József Essig representative String Quartet Festival the booklet, in appreciation for the support provided to the festival. The Winter Exhibition inaugurated in Târgu Mureş

In the International Photography Festival Carol Pop Szathmári - Károly Pap Szathmári organized by the Euro Photo Art under the Ministry of Culture, was inaugurated Thursday, January 16, 2014 at 17:00 at the Bernády House Gallery from Targu Mures,  The Winter Salon of Marx József Photo Club members. The exhibition was presented to the public by curator of the Bernády House Mr. Miklos Nagy Kund, who appreciated the artistic value of the 62 photos exhibited. The President of the photo-club, photographer Both Gyula EFIAP made known that the total of 33 active members, this time exhibited only 25 authors. The exhibition will remain open to the visitors for three weeks.

 

"Our Oradea" group photography exhibition.

The hall of "George Şincai" County Library from Oradea, Thursday evening 16th  January was filled to the brim with photography lovers and friends of the two photographers exhibitors. On cymas installed were exposed over 150 black & white and color photographs, standard size large images made by artists Dan Dragos Oradea - Ovi D.Pop. The audience present at the event was greeted by Ms. Prof. Ligia Mirisan County Library Director, who pointed out that the exhibition of photographs entitled "Our Oradea" harmonious en-roll in the National Culture Day events. The photographer Ștefan Tóth AFIAP - Carol Pop de Szathmári - Szathmári Pap Károly International Photography Festival Director expressed his joy that the inaugural event on January 10, 2014, in Bucharest, gave to the exhibitors the opportunity to organize a group exhibition and congratulated the two photographers for the exhibition. Atmosphere vernissage was stained comic moments with MC and young PV actor who played at the guitar two great musical moments. The exhibition ended with a cocktail offered by exhibitors. Artist photographers exhibition from Kazinbarcika (HU) in Galati

Culture House from Galati hosted within the second edition of the International Festival of Photography "Carol Pop Szathmári - Szathmári Károly Pap" Artists Association exhibition "Photographers Felföldi" in Hungary. At the opening of exhibition in January 13 was attended by over 50 photography lovers from Galați, who were welcomed by the "Lower Danube" Cultural Center Director, Mr. Sergiu Dumitrescu. Sburlan Nicolai photo-artist, President of "Dunarea de Jos" Photo Club from Galati, emphasized the importance of organizing the International Photography Festival and appreciated the great artistic works exhibited. In the opening two artists from "Doina" Ensemble from Galati Gheorghe Banţiu and Vasile Savin have interpreted Romanian and Hungarian traditional songs on violin and piano. Ars Baia Mare Photo Club members exhibition in Carei.

Saturday, January 11, 2014, at 14.00 in the Hall of Károlyi Knights Castle was held a photo exhibition of ARS Baia Mare Photo Club members, entitled "Photographers of Baia Mare". The exhibition was opened on guitar rhythm backed by Iulian Lucuta student of Lyceum from Carei. This collage of songs Bella, Someone Like You, excerpt from the soundtrack of Pirates of the Caribbean movie and My Heart Will Go on. Was spoken Bogdan Georgescu, director of the Department of Culture and Sport of the municipality Carei, Mr. Dragos Georgescu member of the Photo Club "Venig Vasile László" and Mr. Răzvan Fechete, from the ARS Baia Mare photo club. ARS Photo Club Baia Mare was founded in 2007 and currently has ten active members. They met as a photography club desiring to travel, relax and, through photography, to convey the joy and excitement of others. The exhibition includes 70 photographs of various genres of photo art with different themes: macro, portraits, landscapes, abstract aspects of Maramureş. Baia Mare Club was represented by two of its members: Răzvan Fechete and Cristina Griga. Artistic moments were complemented by piano and violin recital supported by Muncean Ursei Robert and David, "Aurel Popp" School of Art students from Satu Mare, who played Monoson of Alan's Borlan. They were prepared by Professor Răceu Danil. Dan Coşarcă student member of the troupe M.E.E.M. of the cultural center, recited two poems from Mihai Eminescu and Liviu Borlan. Exposed: Ovidiu Corzan, Răzvan Fechete, Paul Leţ, Zsolt Madarassi, Victor Mihalcea, Robert Szabó, Alec Portoase, Zamfir Somcutean, Tiberiu Tóth, Vasile Serban and Cristina Griga. The exposition of which is an event that takes place in the second edition of the International Photography Festival Carol Pop de Szathmári, held between 10.01.2014 - 02.11.2014 and includes a total of seven participating countries: Australia, China, Hungary, Serbia,  Slovakia, Romania and the U.S.A. The exhibition can be viewed for two weeks, according to the municipal museum program.

Union of Art Photographers exhibition from Moldova in Oradea

The International Festival of Photography "Carol Pop de Szathmári - Szathmári Károly Pap" enjoyed the success on Saturday (January 11) exhibition installed in the lobby of "University" Passage in the capital, was opened in Gallery "Euro Photo Art" from Oradea the exhibition of artist photographers from Moldova. The opening took place in the presence of photo-artist Anatol Poiată, president of the Union of Art Photographers from Moldova, who attended the event as guest of honor. The exhibition includes artists from Moldova with 100 color and black and white photographs taken by photographers: Andriuc Olga, Burlacu Iurie, Caneev Oleg, Vladimir Colossus, Diacov Tatiana, Foca Iurie, Garstea Victor, Lesik Irene, Miniuc Nicolai, Poiata Anatol, Sorochin Andrei Sorochin Alla and Tabirta Florin. Artists Union Photographers exhibition of Moldova in Bucharest

The International Photography Festival "Carol Pop Szathmári - Szathmári Károly Pap" offered the opportunity to present in the Umiversity passage from Bucharest the Moldovan photo-artists exhibition. The exhibition organized in partnership with "My dear Bucharest" Photo Club from capital was presented the 60 works on special easels. In the range of 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. the exhibition was admired more than 3,000 photographic art lovers from the capital. Among them was the renowned photographer Viorel Simionescu EFIAP, who appreciated the initiative of organizing the International Photography Festival, and the quality of the work exhibited. The exhibition was inaugurated Saturday, January 11, 2014, at 11:00, in the presence of a large audience, including many Nikon photographers. The chairman of "My dear Bucharest" Association Andrei Bârsan has thanked to artist photographers from Moldova for the opening exhibition in the International Photography Festival. The photographer Anatol Poiată expressed his admiration for the large number of visitors, and to the International Photography Festival director, photo-artist Ştefan Tóth AFIAP, thanked to president "My dear Bucharest" for their support to organize this photo exhibition, which was celebrated on the Photographic Art Day in Romania. Finally the chairman of "Euro Photo Art" Association has handed artist photographers Anatol Poiată and Andrei Bârsan the booklet of International Photography Festival.

In the presence of a large audience in the hall of "Balassi" Institute from Bucharest was inaugurated, the second edition of the International Festival of Photography Carol Pop de Szathmári - Szathmári Károly Pap, organized by the "Euro Photo Art" Association from Oradea, under the Ministry Culture. The head master of the Institute Kosa András László welcomed those invited, and the visitors who attended to the event in Hungarian and Romanian, after that he invited photo-artist Ştefan Tóth AFIAP President of the "Euro Photo Art" Association to speak at the opening. As director of the International Festival he welcomed the guest of honor of the festival Anatol Poiată, president of the Union Artist Photographers from Repubic of Moldova,  to Hungarian Institute Director thanked for their support in conducting the event, then handed the Festival booklet. Further the same booklet he handed those, which in their turn supported the organization of the International Festival: Baranyi Ildikó EFIAP photo-artist, Prof. Dr. Radu Igazság and documentary filmmaker János Balázs. Followed in the opening the exhibition of photographer Baranyi Ildiko EFIAP. The author it was presented by photographer Laszlo Dezso EFIAP that emphasized the artistic value of the exhibits and how to achieve them. In his speech the author of the exhibition expressed her joy for the opportunity to expose in the great halls of the Institute. For the second part of the program the audience was invited in the concert hall to watch the documentary entitled "A painter at the dawn of photography" by Hungarian editorial of TVR 2012. Before projection Professor Radu Igazság appreciated the initiative of a documentary film with the occasion of the bicentennial of the first war photographer in the world. The editor of the shows, Emőke Mosoni appreciated the partnership signed with the "Euro Photo Art", which has produced the documentary in several countries of Europe, USA and Australia. János Balázs the filmmaker talked about the backstage of the film documentary, and the public who filled the hall to the brim watched the documentary for 35 minutes.

"Euro Photo Art" Gallery from Oradea hosted Sunday, 10th February, 2013 at 11:00 the closing ceremony of the first International Festival of Photography " - Carol Pop de Szathmari - Szathmari Károly Pap " attended by a large number of participants. On this occasion, event director, photo artist Ştefan Tóth AFIAP, president of the "Euro Photo Art" from Oradea appreciated that the Festival was first organized 18 events in the Russian Federation, Serbia, Slovakia, Romania, Ukraine and Hungary, then handed Festival Plaque, made by artist Eugene Moritz from Cluj-Napoca, to "Varadinum" String Quartet, " Water Lily " Photographic Club and volunteer Zoltán Gardó from Oradea, in appreciation of their contribution to the success of the first international event of an exception. During the opening ceremony take place to the 37th annual exhibition of “Water Lily“ Photographic Club members from Oradea. On this occasion were presented 101 black and white and color photographs taken by the 21 artist photographers Eugen Antal, Monica Butnaru Cacuci Cristian Silviu Corbu, Dorin Chiş, Constantin Dancoglu EFIAPb, Constantin Demeter, Cristian Ene AFIAP, Christian Filipescu, Alexander Santa, Eugen Munteanu, Ilisie Ovidiu Gheorghe Petrila EFIAP, Ovidiu Pop, Adela Lia Rusu AFIAP, Valentina Stan AFIAP, Gelu Stan AFIAP, Claudiu Szabó EFIAP, Ştefan Tóth AFIAP, Gheorghe-Andrei Talpos, Vasile Vénig AFIAP. The works on display were presented by Dr. Ramona Novicov art critic and musical moments were provided by "Varadinum" Quartet artists from Oradea. In the event we were given the 5 awards of excellence "Water Lily" Photographic Club Oradea for artist photographers, who have obtained the best results at national and international salons of photography in 2012. Based on cumulative scores instead I place got Monica Butnaru to 5239.50 points and second place came to Adela Rusu - AFIAP, with 3159 points. Third place went to photographer Valentina Stan AFIAP with 2,213 points, fourth place obtained photo artist Constantin Dancoglu - EFIAPb with 1,247 points and third place went to Gheorghe Petrila - EFIAP with 873.50 points. In conclusion ceremony was performed a photo group with members of the Photographic Club "Water Lily" from Oradea, then known members took part in a common table in the restaurant "Nevis" in Oradea. The exhibition was officially opened by photo artist Ştefan Tóth - AFIAP, President "Water Lily" Photographic Club and "Euro Photo Art" Association from Oradea. New exhibition organized under the auspices of the Photographic Artists Association from Romania in the "Month of Photography in Romania" National Festival. Expo Ovidiu D. Pop in Chernovtsy - Ukraine

Gallery "Euro Photo Art" in the center of Chernovtsy was overcrowded in the evening on Friday the 8th of February 2013. Despite the fact that it snowed all day without interruption, photography lovers gathered in large numbers at the personal exhibition of Ovidiu D. Pop from Oradea entitled "Personal Vision". In public, there were many local scholars, poets, writers, and members "Positive" Photo Club in Chernovtsy. The opening was opened by Mr. Basil Bâcu, president of the Society for Romanian Culture from Chernovtsy region, who expressed his joy to host in the "Euro Photo Art" Gallery in Chernovtsy the personal exhibition of photographic artist Ovi D. Pop from Oradea. Mr. Consul Cornelius Ciobotaru, the representative of the Honorary Consulate of Romania in Chernovtsy, appreciated the role that photography can play in human relationships. Ovidiu D. Pop photographer from Oradea expressed the admiration for the buildings from Chernovtsy and the joy of being present at this event personally. Further, Ilie Popescu - President of "Calvary" Public Company of Romanians from Chernovtsy Region, who handed three recently published books to the photographer artist exhibitor, In closing, Mr. Chairman Vasile Bâcu - President of Romanian Cultural Society of Chernovtsy Region handed artist photographer Ovidiu D. Pop a diploma of honor to opening a personal exhibition and to Mr. Ştefan Tóth AFIAP, president of the "Euro Photo Art" in Oradea to support and promote Romanian photography in Ukraine. The exhibition presented 45 black and white photographs and color lately made by photographer, which will be available to the visitors for a month.

The International Festival of Photography "Szathmari Pap Károly – Carol Pop de Szathmari initiated by "Euro Photo Art” Association Oradea and the National Festival "Month of Photography from Romania", initiated by the Photographic Artists Association from Romania, Photo Club "Lower Danube" was displayed in “Ronde” room together with exhibition Photo ClubCetverg” from Ekaterinburg - Russian Federation organized by Euro Foto Art Association from Oradea. Six photographers, Denis Tarasov, Telcov Fyodor, Sergei Poteriaev, Dmitry Fedorov, Vyacheslav Ivanov, Vadim Ovcinikov, presented a vision of contemporary Russia, from natural to social environment and cultural heritage. More than a hundred photographic works, interesting as a way of expression, drawing attention to "life" in distant city Ekaterinburg located near the Urals Mountains. The start was made
​​last year with a new collaboration with photo club "Lower Danube" and with other photo clubs, and we hope to continue. The leadership of Cultural Center awarded a diploma of excellence to photo club Cetverg” from Ekaterinburg, the diploma will be sent together with the returned works. In the Cultural Center Gallery "Móricz Zsigmond" in Zagyvarékas, was inaugurated on Friday the 1st of February 2013 at 16:00, annual exhibition of Photo Club members' Tiszavirág " from Szolnok Hungary, event in the first edition of the International Festival of Photography "Carol Pop de Szathmári - Szathmari Károly Pap" organized by the " Euro Photo Art " Association from Oradea. In addition of photo-club members from Szolnok and the visitors, the exhibition was attended by János József , Mayor Zagyvarékas, István Farkasházi manager of the Cultural Center "Móricz Zsigmond" and Zoltán Gavaldik, President of Photo Club "Tiszavirág", who delivered speeches. Lectures about Carol Pop de Szathmári - Szathmari Pap Károly  in Oradea.

The International Photography Festival "Carol Pop de Szathmári - Szathmari Károly Pap" organized by the "Euro Photo Art" Oradea, held two lectures about the first Romanian photo artist and the first war photographer in the world, backed by photographer drd. Attila Molnár from Miercurea Ciuc, researcher's personality and work of Carol Pop de Szathmári - Károly Pap Szathmari . The first took place in Hall High School Library "Ady Endre" in Oradea, Wednesday, 30th Jan. 2013, 14:00 clock, in Hungarian, which was attended by over 70 high school students and professors. The second lecture was held in the "Studio" Hall in the Palace "Black Eagle" in Oradea, 18:00 sustained in Romanian, to the members of "Water Lily" Photographic Club in Oradea, attended a more limited artists photographers. At both readings was presented a series of original photographic adventures and a photo album of the period.

Annual exhibition of Photoclub "Helios" members in Komarno (Slovakia).


In the presence of a large audience took place on 18th January 2013 at 19:00, in Gallery "Museum Zichy" in Komarno, the opening of annual exhibition of a 36 known members of Photoclub "Helios" from Komarno, Slovakia. Exhibition organized in the International Festival of Photography "Carol Pop de Szathmári - Szathmari Károly Pap", initiated by the "Euro Photo Art" in Oradea includes the most successful works of photoclub members. Among the exhibited works, audience could discover many photography genres. Exhibition organized under the patronage Self Nitra County, Regional Centre for Culture and City of Komarno and will remain available to the visitors until 31 March 2013.
