OPENING WITH CAROLINAS

A specially equipped room at the "Emanuil Gojdu" National College (CNEG), in Oradea, hosted on Monday, December 5, 2022, from 1:00 p.m., the opening of the Debut exhibition of the graduating students of the Online Course of Technique and Photographic Art, with the theme Nature, with its wonders and riches. The course was organized for the students of the College, by the International Association "Euro Photo Art" under the direction of the photographer artist Ștefan Tóth István AFIAP, ESFIAP. The opening started with a carol offered by the College Choir, led by Prof. Delia Vulpe. The students, present in a very large number physically and online, were greeted by Mrs. Prof. Anca Mile, director of CNEG, who emphasized the importance of the event, both for the students, who, in addition to their daily concerns, reserved time at the end of the week to participate in this exceptional course, as well as for the College's teachers, and invited the graduates of the course along with her. Ms. Dr. Eng. Patricia Maria Știrbu, president of Summit Agro Romania, Bulgaria, Adria and the Republic of Moldova, made a brief introduction of the Japanese company that supported the financing of this project, organized as an absolute first for the students of the College. "I represent a company that for 25 years has been contributing with Japanese experience and technology to the development of agriculture in Romania. The Summit Agro company belongs to the Sumitomo Group from Japan, which is approaching the anniversary of its 4 centuries of existence. The project carried out with the help of Mrs. Prof. Dana Pușcașiu and Mrs. Director Prof. Anca Mile, whom we thank very much for their support, began a year ago, when in the Citadel of Oradea on December 10, 2021, during an unprecedented event in our city , we celebrated the anniversary of 100 years of diplomatic relations between Romania and Japan. During the anniversary event attended by His Excellency Hiroshi Ueda, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan in Romania, we opened the exhibition of photographic artists from the two countries, entitled "People and landscapes from Romania and Japan". This international exhibition was opened this year, also in Tokyo, Japan, on October 5, 2022, in the presence of E.S. Ovidiu Dranga, Ambassador of Romania to Japan and H.E. Dumitru Socolan, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Moldova in Japan, in the presence of a large audience including the representatives of Sumitomo Corporation and their business partners from Japan. The Gojd students who visited the exhibition in the citadel, dedicated to the Romano-Japanese centenary, were inspired by photographic art, as a means of visual communication, through which traditions, nuances, plans and movements were captured so vividly and colorfully, right for which, together, we decided to organize this online course of photographic technique and art, under the direction of the photographer artist Ștefan Tóth István AFIAP, ESFIAP. The Debut exhibition of the course graduates, inspired by Nature, with its wonders and riches, was opened in May, in a festive setting in the Royal Palace of the Oradea Medieval Citadel. Then the director Prof. Mile Anca, the director of CNEG, impressed by the performance of the young people, decided that the exhibition should also be opened at the College. Today, on the simese, I admired photos taken with great skill by the graduates of the course on nature, who knew how to highlight everyday subjects, which we pass by many times, without paying attention to them. Art makes us see, understand and love even more these lands full of history and traditions, of which we must be proud and promote them" underlined, in her speech, Dr. Eng. Patricia Maria Știrbu. The director also invited other photography-loving students to enroll in the new course that will be organized for the students of the College in partnership with AIEFA. The lecturer of the course appreciated the good collaboration with the students who participated in the course and the fact that recently, the works of the graduates have had a series of successes at various national and international contests of photographic art. "I will speak from the perspective of a teacher of Romanian language and literature, because you can't help but appreciate the fact that an art such as literature and poetry can meet with another visual art, which is photography. In my opinion, the children had a double gain: firstly, they became more sensitive to detail and secondly, more sensitive to beauty. All this for me as a teacher is a great help, because the students learned what is beautiful in images and I am sure they had a unique experience" said teacher Dana Pușcașiu. In conclusion, the director announced the establishment of the first Photoclub within the College, which will offer opportunities to participate in special creative activities. Dr. Eng. Aurel Bunea, former professor of fruit growing at the Faculty of Environmental Protection

ARTISTS FROM ORADEA PRESENT AT THE OPENING AND RELEASE OF THE ALBUM IN THE

"KÁROLYI" CASTLE IN CAREI.

At the "Károlyi" Castle in Carei, on Saturday, November 05, 2022, at 5:00 p.m., in the presence of an audience that filled the large hall to capacity, the launch of the album entitled "Floating" by the late artist photographer Vasile Vénig László AFIAP from the locality took place . The public present at the event was greeted by the artist photographer Bikfalvi Zsolt AFIAP, who emphasized the special role that the late artist photographer Vasile Vénig László AFIAP had in the cultural life of Carei. The photographic artists Dragoș Georgescu and Dr. Hágó Attila appreciated the special role that the late photographic artist had in the professional and artistic guidance of the members of the current Fotoclub. Next, the photographer artist Ștefan Tóth István AFIAP, ESFIAP, was invited to the microphone, in the double capacity of a friend of the late photographer artist and director of the "Euro Foto Art" Publishing House, under whose care the album appeared. "As a guest, I arrived at Carei 45 years ago, at a National Colloquium of Photographic Art, organized by the former Fotoclub "9 Mai" whose president was the late photographer. We collaborated for several decades until the Photoclub was abolished, after which Vasile Vénig László AFIAP became a member of the Photographic Club "Nufărul" from Oradea (CFNO), led by me, where he was active until his passing into eternity. I always appreciated artistic photographs made by him, which were based on an original creativity: conceiving and drawing the "dreamed" creation, photographing and "assembling" the elements in the analog laboratory, which meant painstaking work and a lot of patience. In the knowledge of the case, I can state that until the appearance of the Faculties of Photography, no one in Romania used this demanding way of creativity, which is why it was "envied" by many photographic artists in our country. As the director of the "Euro Foto Art" Publishing House, I was happy when I was contacted by the family members with the proposal to edit this splendid album, to whom I proposed to respect the wishes of the late photographer artist. This evening the viola of Maestro Thurzó Sándor József "mourned" as well as our souls, which mourn the late artist photographer Vasile Vénig László AFIAP emphasized in the conclusion of his speech the president of CFNO and of the International Association "Euro Photo Art". Next, the niece of the late artist photographer and art historian Imecs–Magdó Eszter, stated: The photo album entitled Floating, which the esteemed reader is holding in his hand, is the kaleidoscopic imprint of Vénig László's late creative period. The photos were selected by the artist himself, during the last days he spent among us, with the intention of being edited. Therefore, the album is not only a subjective selection of the latest creations, but also the last wish of the artist". The musical moments were specially prepared for this event by maestro Thurzó Sándor József, who performed the pieces: "Ave Maria", op.17 by Beleznay Antal, "Largo" by Dankó János, "Air" by Macalik Alfréd and " Búvópatak” (Hidden Stream) by Lászlóffy Zsolt. In conclusion, the visiting public was invited to view the annual exhibition of the members of the "Vasile Vénig László" Photoclub installed on the grounds of the first Exhibition Center of the GPU (Photo Global Photographic Union) in Europe, within the "Károlyi" Castle in Carei.

The Exhibition of the

Artist Photographers

from Krosno (Poland)

The public in Oradea and not only can view at “Euro Foto Art” Gallery, after the beginning of the school year a new photography exhibition. This time, in the Gallery, the public will be able to see photographs made by the members of Krosno Photo Club, Poland. The photo club was first named The Photographic Society in Krosno and it was founded in 1970 at the initiative of the 40 artist photographers from Subcarpathia. They had made their first international contact with the photo clubs in Slovakia. In 2001 The Photographic Society in Krosno had become The Photo Club of the Regional Frontier Culture Centre (Regionalne Centrum Kultur Pogranicza). Ever since, the photo club has been exposing photographs made by its members and also by other artist photographers in the region: Slovakia, Ukraine, Romania and Hungary. From 2001 the ”Krosno” Photo Club has organized 15 international creation trips and on these trips the artist photographers have had the opportunity to photograph the lives of people living in various places and the beauty of those places. They have also had the opportunity to get to know the cultural variety of different cities or regions. The meetings between artist photographers have become chances to share their experiences and to organize different exhibitions on both sides of the border. The artist photographer, Wacław Turek, the president of the Photo Club, affirms that “photography means the joy of retrieving and immortalizing mysterious images or images the world had forgotten. It allows us to capture in one frame emotions, everything around us, an incredible universe. Sometimes, photography is also the contrary of logic. Just as Henri Cartet Bresson, one of the most remarkable French photo reporters of the 20the Century said: to take photographs means to find a balance among reason, sight and soul. The varnishing of the exhibition took place on the 16th of September, 2015, at 6pm, in the presence of a large audience. Unfortunately the delegation of 4 artist photographers from Krosno could not make it at the varnishing. The president of the „Euro Foto Art”,Association spoke very highly about the best intentions of collaboration between the two organizations and eulogistically presented the photographs. The artist photographers Kajtár Tibor from Szolnok (Hungary) and Ovi D. Pop have spoken about the international creation seminar organized recently in the lovely town of Krosno. The musical moments were ensured by the artists Ariadna şi Georgiana Mircescu. We appreciate the fact that The Photo Club of the Regional Frontier Culture Centre “Krosno” has become a partner of “Euro Foto Art” International Association. Also, based on this partnership, the artist photographers from Oradea have participated in August to an exhibition of photographic art at the Cultural Centre in Krosno and have participated to several creation trips in the region. The exhibition of the artist photographers from Krosno was organized under the patronage of the  Bihor County Council, in partnership with The County Library “Gheorghe Şincai” in Oradea. The exhibition will remain open to the public until the 29th of September, 2015, from Monday to Friday, between 8 am and 7 pm. The public access is free of charge.

A heartfelt meeting in Oradea

The management of “Nufarul” Photo Club has restructured the programme of the weekly meetings beginning with September. One of the new additions has been the monthly presentation involving all the members of the club. The cycle has been inaugurated on September the 3rd, 2015 at 6 pm in the conference room of the Nevis Hotel, in Oradea with the presentation of the artist photographer, Stefan Tóth AFIAP, under whose leadership this well-known photo club was founded thirty nine years ago. Near the projecting screen were generously placed two easels, one photograph installed in a special frame representing the artist photographer when he was only a couple of months old and a painting portraying him also, created by a painter-photographer from Marghita a few years ago. In the first part of the speech, Stefan Tóth AFIAP told his colleagues at the photo club about his first contact with a camera and about the time his parents had bought him his first camera, a „Beirette” (made in RDG), when he was only seven years old. He had recounted with great emotion about his first two exhibitions organized in Oradea, in 1972 and 1974 and also about his first artistic photographs made between 1971-1972 in Cismigiu Park and at an International Judo Championship, organized in Floreasca hall, in Bucharest. The atmosphere of the encounter was very special, both because of the content of the presentation and also because of the hospitality of the host, the owner of Nevis Hotel, the artist photographer, Eugen Munteanu, who has promised that in the future, he would host the monthly gatherings and presentations of the members of “Nufarul” Photo Club.

Opening of the exhibition "Colours" or "clothes make the young"

In the exhibition hall F64 Studio (Unirii Boulevard, No. 45) from the capital, was opened on 24 March 2015, at 19:00, in the presence of a large audience, the exhibition "Colours", consisting of works belonging to the young photographers Dragoș Voicu and Catalina Cosma. Dragoș Voicu is a photography enthusiast from Bucharest who began his photography activity in 2012. His first personal exhibition, "Teenage Dream" was opened in the summer of 2013, still in the F64 Studio, which also placed the young spirit in the spotlight, highlighting a range of issues specific to adolescence. Over time, he pursued an intense photographic activity, working with models both from the capital and the country, and he also collaborated with various publications such as Magazine LZR or Magazine "Vlăstarul". However, "Colours" is his first project that also benefits from the International Association "Euro Photo Art" - Oradea (AEFA). The exhibition includes not only the photos that created the concept, but furthermore, young Catalina Cosma brings her photographic contribution. The experiments have been made on this side too, so the young photographer has analyzed the relationship between man-clothes and exploited the metamorphosis element of the garment. This way, the world becomes a story and we are the characters on the stage of life. As adolescence is the period of big dreams and daring plans, by clothing we homogenize the real with the ideal, giving rise to a strong subjectified world. Catalina Cosma began her photographic work in mid-2011, when she also started working with Teen Magazine Press (publication with which she collaborates in the present as well). Although she participated in other photographic projects over time, she exhibits a series of photos for the first time in this event. The exhibitors were able to demonstrate through the photos exhibited that "The first impression is always the strongest, printing itself in the memory of the interlocutor and reaching to define the way in which an individual is cataloged. Regarding youths, the first things noticeable are the clothes". The group exhibition "Colours" is the result of over a year and a half of photographic work (August 2013 - February 2015), and the whole concept is based on illustrating the vitality and the power of expression of the younger generation, in the manner which is most easy, and namely the way of dressing. Although the concept was derived from the collaboration with a fashion blog, the basic idea was coagulated in a collection of 21 photographs showing the clothing styles but also the attitudes, emotions, putting in a new light the individual variability of adolescents. The exhibition "Colours", organized with the support of partners: F64 Studio, Azero/My Poster, Chemists Poli Students Association (ASC Poli), Evenimentul Zilei, HyperFlash, Urban.RO, Magazine LZR, studentie.ro, Teen Press and amdoar18ani.ro. will be open until April 4, 2015 and the entry is free.
